Zhenya will violently rape Taekjoo again and again and again. It's just a cycle of Zhenya humiliating, torturing and violating Taekjoo. Zhenya will never stop obsessing over and tormenting Taekjoo even until the very end. Because of everything that Zhenya has done, Taekjoo will develop Stockholm Syndrome. Taekjoo of course will try escaping Zhenya but he knows that Zhenya will never leave him alone and he just accepts his fate like 'it is what it is'. Basically ZY is just an obsessive cruel psychopath and TJ is just unfortunate to be the subject of his obsession.

I finished the novel and you need to understand that zhenya doesn't comprehend human emotions. Taek joo is bothering him so he must be eliminated. But the thought of killing him is bothering him too and he doesnt understand why that is thats in the end of vol3 taek joo runs away.
In vol 4 taek joo is dealing with serious allegations in korea and is in a very bad situation when he meets zhenya he askes him for help and sets boundaries from beginning
In this vol Zhenya knows that taek joo is very important to him and doesnt want to hurt him what makes taek joo sad makes zhenya sad too
He even visits taek joos mother often when taekjoo is away and tries to keep her company ( he doesnt know korean and she doesnt know Russian but they still communicate) bc he knows its important for taek joo
He never apologize for what he did bc he doesnt understand what he did was wrong. Its like taek joo is dealing w a very wild child. Main story ends w taek joo telling him our relationship depands on what you do in future. Clearly telling him he will leave him if he does wrong again. And this time he can leave him bc the situation is much different

I simply like to analyse and understand characters the way they were meant to be and the way they are perceived !

And thats also why I hate taek joo he is a normal human and still decides to stay with him and yes he clearly wants zhenya in the end of the story.
