Just binged this story and I love the MC and ML, they’re so cute together. The ML is not just a green flag but a whole damn forest! He has loved her from day 1 and has not given us a single reason so far to dislike him one bit which is rare in these stories. Love that he’s literally healing her inner child with those b-day gifts. So I’m pretty sure the ML isn’t the killer. I kind of suspect it could be his stepmother or another person from Cortina. The FL found out that the victims were poisoned, so it doesn’t have to be a tall and strong person. The knots used on each victim are from Cortina and the ML’s dad met the stepmom during his time there. ML’s mom died from an illness but could very well have been poisoned. The ML’s dad has died but they haven’t stated how yet. So far each victim has a connection with the ML, so he could be framed. It’ll be easier for people to believe it was him by making the OG FL his final victim.
I just want her to leave for another country and heal. The only he can get back with her is if he realizes how bad he and everyone else treated her. He’ll need to regret and grovel at her feet before she even thinks about talking to him. They both just need to have an honest conversation in order to heal their relationship. Then they can either get together or have closure. Honestly, I’d rather have her get closure and leave his ass so she can be free and happy!
