Ein was working in Germany at a restaurant. He was in contact with a man called Yarek who was involved in some crimes related to money a drugs. When Yarek was going to collect what he was owed from the priest, he discovered Diesel restrained, drugged and injured, and he took him to Ein. Yarek was able to arrange for a private doctor, so that was the last time they saw each other for a few months. When they met again, Ein thought that Diesel appeared not human, and followed Diesel and Yarek to a pub. Ein tried to get more information about Diesel's background, thinking he may be an immigrant and a victim of human trafficking but didn't succeed. Diesel told him, in German that Yarek calls him Diesel. So Diesel's real name, nationality, where his dad is etc have not been divulged. Yarek was in the pub grumbling about the priest, and a rival gang tried to attack him. Diesel sprung into action to defend Yarek and cut off the man's finger. Diesel tells Ein, when asked that he sensed what was going happen due to the scents. Later Ein discovers Yarek and Diesel having sex. Yarek is likely the man who Ein killed, fot reasons unknown. Ein and Diesel have been in SK for a couple of years, and the Chief wants Ein to return to Germany. When the official translations come out, it might be clear how they were linked to the wider European gangs. And that's been about it, but Diesel doesn't have a pack, it was just him and his dad, and now he's in Germany, alone with no identity.

From my experience people who treat you bad in highschool only pop back up in your life later on for one reason. And that is to fuck shit up and because they realize they can use you again especially when they realize you haven't changed.
I do not hope she dies but I also hope that she gets lost.
A person of my past popped up and put me through the same shit. Maybe I was naive for trusting them again and maybe we were both at fault for not changing and learning from our mistakes. But what these 'leeches' do for lack of a better term is still unforgiveable.
Now I can't say for sure that everyone who pops up again isn't up to no good. Sometimes they genuinely are sorry. But then again if you were sorry you'd simply apologize and not continiusly try and hang to that person because you need to realize seeing you may still cause them pain even if they can forgive you. People do not forget.
I just hope Bumi is stronger than I was.

I knew Ein was being targeted by whomever Diesel used to date. Or maybe not specifically that person.
I had a feeling they weren't just running away from the police for killing Diesel's lover. But now I want to know why exactly these people choose Ein as their target....
Chapter 20 maybe shows a glimpse of the aftermath of that man's death
- (An an unidentified man is talking to Diesel) "Dog's don't betray you Diesel. But human's are different. Do not trust anyone. The moment you do... it'll be the end of you. Do not trust anyone if you want to survive. Listen carefully. You can disappear once the sun rises. So run away, your life here is over" (cut with the scene of Diesel watching Ein, and Ein playing with a knife.
Also of an image of Diesel as a husky all bloody). Not much else is known really I guess, bar the fear they have, of Diesel being isolated from his pack, of Diesel saying that he can protect Ein when he is in human form, and then Ein being targeted in the last chapter, showing how quickly and violently they can be discovered. I think that Diesel was maybe neglectful (if that's the right term) of his wolf state. This being exasperated by his isolation from wolves, and for whatever reason he feels he has to protect Ein, and this being only possible when he is a man. Ein feeling like he's lost Diesel, when he transforms into a dog. There was also the Pablo fixation, and how this led to him meeting Bexan and being so defensive, before warming up to him.
