at chapter 4, kuroe told sonogi abt his past. sonogi's mom was his neighbor that helped him.
when sonogi's mom helped kuroe, he was pregnant with sonogi and she kept helping kuroe until sonogi was born. kuroe loved sonogi as a baby until he was put in an orphanage. i hope i helped explaining!
