So what's the whole thing about her not being allowed to have ice during "that time of the month"? Is it some sort of a Korean cultural thing where women aren't allowed to have cold stuff while on their period? I don't know what the characters are referring to and am curious. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It's an Asian Traditional Medicine belief that you're not supposed to drink cold water during your period as it might cause period pain (dysmenorrhea) or even for the period to stop (Something to do with your body elements). /// I said "Asian" not "Chinese" cause I've heard of the same thing from Indian, Nepali, Japanese, Korean, etc. fellows.

Im asian and i think it's an asian thing, the first time i got my period the very first thing mother said to me is to not drink cold stuff, or consume any sour foods, same with my sisters.

so i often drink just green tea/water at that time of the month ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It’s not so much a “Korean thing” more of a Chinese thing becuz this is a manhua, if you couldn’t tell by the Chinese names

    sangrientaluna March 1, 2018 8:32 am

I can generalize it as eastern thing. Same advice we receive time to time in Turkey. and mom knows it from Iraq. It actually helps to keep your stomach warm. Also there are those chinese warm patches. I wonder if anyone saw. It's a plastic bag of something reddish and hard. You click on some resistor in it. It becomes hot and slimy/liquidy. It's good to put it on your stomach then. After use you put it in boiled water. It returns back to solid form. Been using for awhile.

Step 1: Lure him in with cute baby brother. *He'll never see your true intentions.
Step 2: Show off your Tsundere embarrassed cute side. *For extra effectiveness, add an accent or a cute dialect.
Step 3: "Accidentally" and "Tastefully" flash him your teabags. *It'll remind him of how thirsty he is. For your unique flavor....
Step 4: Hide him from all other competitors (*cough*cough* fangirls *cough*cough*) in your closet. *Lock the door to ensure he stays in the closet for your own "exclusive" use.
Step 5: Capture is complete. *Remember to serve the tea hot. It goes down easier that way.
