As an lgbt person I get that todou is afraid of starting the relationship but this wasnt well elaborated in my opinion. And the fact that he loved the uke (i forget his name) for so long but never told him and the younger brother is the one who had to deal with their relationship by sulkying and being annoying??
The author tried portraied their friendship as very strong but when the uke basically said "you can be gay just dont *turn* my brother into males" ...what? this is prejudice. This is horrible to say to someone, who could you be a friend but yet you be offended with your brother has the same sexuallity? Homphobia shouldnt be acceptable. Even so, they endep up togheter...
I think the things he said were also because Toujou tends to sleep around a lot. His reaction to when he first found out Toujou was gay was "everyone's love is different" or something like that. So this is probably more of an extreme case of brother complex. Like extreme. He didn't even want his brother dating a girl.
you realize that toudou is more homophobic than naoto is? dude, that scene in which he goes to the bar as if naoto will be attacked any second shows exactly what he thinks about gays. there's not one scene in which naoto was homophobic. being a brocon is completely natural he not wanting his brother to go in a hard path or giving him to another man. i think you didn't really understand it.
DO YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT CONSENT???
