If the royal family has such an issue with Kyle’s influence maybe they should work towards not relying on his money?? They act surprised he’s not their lapdog when he has no reason to respect them and get mad when there’s consequences to them using him for their own goals. I don’t completely hate the prince since he’s definitely been influenced by his frivolous father and does seem to genuinely care about his sisters, but treating Kyle, who has helped him so much, like he’s inferior and then that whole shit show that occurred in the og novel where he tried to humiliate Kyle, is literally just stupid. Why bite the hand that feeds you?? Especially if you still rely on it? ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

charlize looks so cool this chapter and it was great seeing her father's (and everyone else's) reaction to her killing a demon with one blow!! (▰˘◡˘▰) honestly she's such a good protagonist - i like that's she's not perfect or a saint, but not needlessly cruel either. i really hope that she ends up getting her happy ending and doesn't feel so consumed by anger and the need for revenge anymore. also if charlize, hilise (from untouchable lady), and roxana (from the way to protect the fl's older brother) ever met, i feel like they would be the coolest friend group (even though i would be terrified to talk to them lol)

the ex is stupid as hell - while asking for a concubine is definitely in part due to revenge, it's also part of the diplomatic relationships?? her asking for a concubine is something that anyone who took the throne would do and was exactly what he did previously when he took one from her country... but bc of their personal history she's not supposed to do the same, even though it's also a symbol of their countries being allies??
