The way conflict escalated in novel was waay more gruesome. He was beating the living SHIT out of her while she was making fun of his ego. And the point was of how he was a raging unapologetic abuser and then everyone saw his facade breaking down. In manhwa he just pushed her a bit and slapped her, and man why adding fucking memories of him being broken doll and manipulated by his father? Are you really trying to justify his actions now??? I don’t give a single fuck about a literal sisterfucking incel rapist sob story, he doesn’t need pity points because he is a handsome male and artist kinda want sell him on that. I am seething because in the biggest climax of the story artist tries to justify abuse(even if it’s a little bit)
