Yeah, most people in Japan get tattoos because they are in a gang. But other people who aren’t in gangs have them too. They normally get it because it tells a story or they just like the drawings, but they would be known as an outcast to society. And sorry I don’t know what the spider means :’( if it was a spiders web than that would be a different story. People who get prison tattoos normally have a spider web on their elbows for its many meaning, but idk if the author was trying to make the spider be a representation of the spider web.I don’t want to assume anything but from every think in the story line I think he was in a small gang with those other guys and one day he left.
