Is funny how the comments make clear that most haven't read BJ Alex haha cause otherwise you will quickly realize this is going to have exactly the same mechanic and slow burn process of character/story development (with Jaekyung suddenly realizing his feelings) as Jiwon. Is better if you don't expect anything else.
Aside from that, you can clearly see that there is already a really small development in Jaekyung's character, the him from the begging would never have the little considerations he now has for Dan, if Dan behaved like he does now with the Jaekyung from the begging he would rather be f*cked mercilessly or beat up, going from that to Jaekyung getting impatient and irritated is a small development (cause as I said, this is going to be slow).
And before someone says I'm defending him, no I'm not, he is trash and always will be, I'm just referring to the development and just that.
PD: thank you uploader!

I did read BJ Alex and I can recognize the pattern. And while I did half way forgive Alex there is a big, big difference!
I cannot recall any outright "rape scenes".
Alex was selfish but he didn't not have feelings
Uke was never ever backed into a corner like this. In this story Uke has very limited choices, not to say he is not grown. He makes his choices but i could never accept a relationship with this man. Not saying you would either just trying to help explain the difference.
The two stories are so very different to me is all

I read BJ Alex and was very excited when I saw a new manga from the author but this one is different. BJ Alex did not have outright rape scenes most if not all of the couples sex was consensual. The uke wanted Alex and wanted to be in a relationship with him from the jump. There was a power dynamic but only in the sense of fan and celebrity, not the slave/master relationship I see here. Alex was a pornstar that had unhealthy idea about sex and relationships which was the reason he pushed the uke away. Plus the uke was overly clingy imo. That's why some of his actions were forgivable.
Don't get me wrong. Both mangas are similar but the characters are in different circumstances which make certain actions more frustrating.

For everyone trying to understand, basically the Big Bad Guy (the one controlling Geto's body) is trying to turn non-sorcerer people of Japan into curse users (cause he believes that sorcerers are the 'evolution') but to do that he needs a HUGE amount of power, so he has been scheming a big plan all this time for which he needed Geto's ability, to get the Six Eyes user out of the way (Satoru) and Tengen's evolution (by not being able to merge with the star plasma vessel).
Tengen evolved into something that is more like a curse than a human (he used to be a human curse user) so now the Big Bad Guy can control him thanks to Geto's ability (of controlling curses) and use Tengen's powers to turn all Japan's population into curse users. And this will be really really BAD.
Sukuna and Yuuji are of some use on all this plan but is not explained yet.
Due to the attitude of the characters we can also suppose that Satoru got rid of the weapons that could freed him of the Prison Realm on purpose, because he knows more than he has said and has his own plans.
I knew it the moment Heesung appeared that he would end up with Yoongu, and they're obviously going to be the source of the funny and cute dynamic this needs to compensate the heaviness given by Jaekyung and Dan's relationship.
me too! i always ending up liking the side couple in these types of stories too
