how is this man so good at flirting like what the fuck
On ch 16 and this man is like so good like he is blowing me away, never in the history of ever has a 2nd ML been so goddamn behind. Like he needs to give up so quick cause the way the ML is running laps around this kid is criminal. I am speechless at how fucking with it Itsuomi is, literally clutching my hair and mouth wide open. I feel like my cold frigid heart is being lit on fire
I’ve reread it and it’s true. Itsuomi runs laps around Oushi. I feel like Oushi is extremely inexperienced and immature for his age. Apparently he’s actually 22 but the way he talks to Yuki is like a middle school boy.
From what I can tell he has zero chance unless Itsuomi dies or somehow turns out to be a jerk and lying this whole time.
No I binge read it (which is why I have back to back comments lol) and like Oushi isn't even showing up on the radar its almost sad. Like Itsuomi is just doing everything better like the flirting? The communication? Him just expressing his love for her? Him saying I want you? Let me in your world? She even says even when he's far away he never makes her feel left out. What makes it even better is that he's only sweet to her, like everyone close to him has never seen him be sweet and in love. I'm weak in the knees man
Isn't Itsuomi 22? Oushi should be around Yuki's age, right? Thry're childhood friends and she's 19. But I kinda forgot if his age was mentioned so Idk ( ̄∇ ̄")
Oushi definitively looks younger than Itsuomi but Itsuomi has also got the huge advantage of just having a whole lot more experience, especially in handling himself around people.
And Oushi is quite cute tbhヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I just hope he'll be able to move on someday
I just came here from the anime (i've only watched the two ep that are out), I think after seeing some of the comments about Oushi and also watching him briefly, I think that while his effort is sweet (him learning sign language) his perspective is skewed. People with disabilities shouldn't be treated as completely fragile and in need of being separated and protected like children. They're entitled to living life like everyone else, like my biggest gripe with Oushi already is that he acts like she needs to be completely protected away from society and not only is that so limiting for her but also taken in the most negative way is also patronizing? I also feel like a lot of people steer into this mindset of people with disabilities need to be protected at all costs but like who asked for all of that?
For those skeptical about the romance arc and worried since its seems so many people dislike it. Other than the people who do love the romance and think its well done. Since the beginning of the arc I've liked it before the romance even started. I personally love the romance arc because the author somehow fit an isekai villainess romance type plot inside ranking action manwha and I just think that is so fun. Like the manhwa itself is unique and surprising on its own, but fitting a whole other sub genre is so fun. If you don't like romance in action fine. If you don't like romance at all, whatever. If it's not your cup of tea thats okay. But I personally love how the author combined two similar genres that usually never overlap to introduce the romance aspect. As a person who really likes isekai and reincarnation romance stories, especially all versions that involve a villainess and heroine, this whole arc is really cool in my opinion and definitely surprised me since its genre combining. Idk I think its unique and the only thing I can think of off the top of my head that does this even more and combines the isekai genre with something else and subverts your expectations is Surviving Romance, which is also really good.
I also think learning love is very important for Gongja in this story is actually really important for his growth. The whole story he's trying to be a better person to become a worthwhile human being and to do something with his life. He spends all his time trying to empathize with others and basically save everyone and puts life in such high regard. Don't you think it's strange that he doesn't even know what love is? That he hasn't even experienced life himself? It's just as his teacher said, how would you be able to truly understand all the pain in the world without understanding joy first. So I think this arc is more than just some random romance arc, which to me is more well thought out than most romance plots in action LN's and manwhas. And if you think their love is too over the top, I think its a good change of pace from the constant harems and indecision or even lack of care you get from MC's. I really do get why people hate romance in action manhwas because it really doesn't fit or is not done well and can ruin a story. But I don't think that's a problem here at all.
Majorly hoping the princess and her guard end up together, crossing my fingers. Also, I was thinking from the beginning that it seems like they both died from something like carbon monoxide poisoning like some sort of fluke accident. Idk just my theory. which kinda makes it more tragic idk. ALSO reincarnations of lovers where only one remembers, is literally a gut punch everytime. I can't help but feel so invested, especially towards the one that remembers, it literally never fails to get me. Also these characters are so much better than me cause I would just wallow in self pity. Like she doesn't have her friends from her past life, the cousin seems like she's trying to snatch her past life ex, her ex just rejected her. I would personally wither away.
Also Miguel is so sweet TT, he's giving 2 ML vibes tho TT
Literally never fails to make me smile. Like in love with this series
