Most incest I've read so far was step sibling lol feel kinda weird for a twin.
That still doesn't count as incest, just inappopriately tagged. Blood relatives, siblings, half-siblings, twins, cousins, those are incest. So if you've been reading stories about step siblings, those are definitely not incest. You're using that word incorrectly. Anyone who sees the word incest should figure out it involves a sexual relationship between people connected by blood.
Yeah it's technically not incest but still tagged as one. Even if wrongly. Many people start to associate incest tags with step parents, step siblings, step uncles/aunts because that's 80% of incest stuff comes from hence it doesn't upset as many people as real incest does.
And even so, why are you so bothered that people complain about something? Yeah, I said it's weird, doesn't mean I hate it. Just because I'm weirded out by it, doesn't mean I'm bothered by it.
You know what? I don't even remember the exact reason lmao. I just kept responding before I knew it. But I was probably annoyed by some comments here at the beginning crying that it's incest when it clearly said it is and just happened to stop by yours before deciding to respond. Or probably because of you saying you can complain if you want to. That probably annoyed me more because you don't really "complain" about the theme of a certain story when expectations were clearly laid out at the beginning. If you're gonna criticize something, let it at least be related to the characters, the plot, how the theme was incorporated, etc. It's like ordering a burger and getting surprised you got a burger. You criticize the taste, the portion, how it was made, etc. Not the burger itself cause you knew you were gonna get a burger when you decided to make that order. Just like when you decided to read this when it screamed incest as soon as you opened it. But yeah, it's fine to be weirded out because it's not for most people but you don't "complain" about it afterwards when you willingly decided to read it yourself. That's just stupid. So don't be surprised if people call you out for it. But yeah, your initial comment was fine for me. You weren't even trying to be rude or anything compared to the other comments. It was more of you saying you can complain just because you can. And having misconceptions about the theme is not an excuse. You having misconceptions because of previous stories you read shouldn't be held against another story that actually takes that specific tag seriously. Anyway, that's the end of my rant. Sorry to take your time.
In my situation, it's more like this maybe : I do order a burger but I'm from japan and one day I visit America and tried their burger and I was like, "oh,that was weird" outloud. And that does count as a complaining. Doesn't mean you hate it. And I'm not trying to say it to the manager either. It's like I'm posting something on my social media and said "Tried American burger for the first time, it was kinda weird ngl". It doesn't impact the bussiness (or the author in my case) and everyone can just move along.
Yeah. Like I said, nothing wrong with your initial comment. It was your reaction and I respect that. Just the "complaining cause I can" part. It's more of the entitlement to such opinions that you weren't supposed to have, had people actually taken the warnings seriousy, which is what is reflected by a lot of the comments here. And yes, it doesn't make that much of an impact to the business, but if you were gonna post an opinion publicly (not really pertaining to yours specifically cause like I said, your reaction was fine) saying how outraged you are for receiving your order exactly how it was described to you beforehand, expectations and all, you shouldn't be surprised if people criticize you for it. Yours wasn't a complaint at all, it was a reaction, an opinion. I'm more of talking about people who are legit complaining it's incest when it obviously is, given the tags, comments and especially the warning. And your "doesn't mean I can't complain" is the exact mindset these particular people have as an excuse to write anything they want just because they can, no matter how dumb it sounds like. But yeah, this has dragged on too long. This might be my last response. I liked discussing with you though. You're one of the most mature and respectful people I've conversed with in the comments section. I'll move on now. Thanks
Ahh so that's why the ending feels rushed. Poor author.
