it's also difficult for me to understand... i mean she's lived in that world for so long and she still has difficulties seeing it as a real world, with real people, and herself as a part of the world?

Tbh I think it's also a mental block for her to think that way so she won't get hurt anymore emotionally (it's what I think anyhow)
