It is meant to be like this, it’s not exactly like a webtoon. It’s originally a CGtoon with special effects that you can’t see through screenshots (if you don’t see what I mean just check on Iezhin)
Saying the author is lazy is ungrateful since the art have upgraded compared to the webtoon version of this story. The artist puts extra effort to make it look like more 3D. Yes there is less panels because of the format but this type of art is obviously more time consuming
