i think people forget that being a "strong female lead" doesn't only stand for the common traits we've seen in other characters. maxi is also a strong female lead-- because of her strong desire to change and be better at things. other than that,, she's constantly battling her past and thoughts about people disliking her for her stutter. i think we should all be more open minded.
+ i too feel that she should tell him that he's misunderstood about how she was treated at the croix castle-- but again, we're ignoring the fact that riftan is her first actual relationship (and not just in the romantic sense) and its not easy to confront your fears and talk about them so fast. be patient guys,,, its just the first 10 chapters,,,, there's a lot more to the characters than we see just now hehe
also for someone who has dealt with so much in the past--- its not easy to just come up and tell someone everything. maxi questions her every move because of how people treated her at the croix castle,, you CANNOT expect someone with such deep rooted trauma to just come up and tell someone everything.
it also doesn't help that riftan is a famous guy,,, it adds more to her anxiety. i get that its a work of fiction, but be empathic please. this story is more than just romance and smut--- its also about the characters and their development as individuals.
