It is crazy. They try so hard to justify it, and when they can't they just complain and say people shouldn't read it. Is it really so hard to admit that he's a rapist and what he does is wrong?
We get that maybe he isn’t a good character and he made bad decisions because of his environment and his job but he changes for the better. Rape is wrong. But that’s js the way the author made him.
Jobs/environments don't make people rapists. Choosing to rape someone makes you a rapist. Not all thugs are rapists and not all rapists are thugs. They have nothing to do with each other. So don't even try and give him that excuse.
And he hasn't changed. He knows what he did to Euihyun was wrong, pretended to care about him, then raped him to get what he wanted anyway. That's called reverse character development and that's why people who use their brains are annoyed by the author's decision to ruin his supposed redemption arc.
Not that I think a rapist can be redeemable in the first place but they can have good characters development. Even that monster from Painter of the Night managed to pull it off with a sincere apology and actions that support his words until the end of the story.
I just think its really heartbreaking and interesting how Dokja's entire world-view on his mother is shattered in this moment.
He believed his mom to be selfish and hated her his whole life for the bullying he endured and the betrayal he felt when she sold their 'life' and story for money. But she was just protecting him the whole time.
As a 29 year old he finally figured out what the truth was and so of course he's distraught, he hated his mom for seemingly no reason
But its okay that he hated her he had a right she kept the real information from him and he still indeed suffered because of that

Plot was looking cool then omegaverse was suddenly slapped In… I’m sorry but this is so funny I can’t read it I feel like this kind of plot with omegaverse suddenly added is for little babies that’s something I would’ve read when I was 15
While reading the novel, I sometimes forget this story is in omegaverse until it being mention honestly. Plus they said the babies is hard to be conceive or safely being delivered. There's still a lot of thing they don't know about alpha and omega.
You won't really notice the omegaverse aspect since we just know that they're omegas, alphas etc. They really don't dive in that much on it except on yudairs awakening as an omega. The story dives in the world building and then the relationship between characters instead. That's why I like this story especially the novel!

You don't need to worry about that. They didn't attract to each other simply because they're alpha and omega. It's more deeper than that.

Hey- I get it. I don't like it when a plot device like omegaverse is thrown in for sex, and sex only either. And honestly I don't think this story really needs it. The premise is already good, enough plot devices and drive for characters to do stuff and keep the story moving. It feels like the only place that ABO has in this story (I don't know I suck at analyzing) is to push the main leads having sex with each other out of necessity. Like "we're talking, oh no you're going into an unexpected heat, guess I better do ya", thing. But idk, haven't read the novel.
Also I do like omegaverse when it comes to domestic stories. Not that I don't enjoy it from time to time, but this sort of thing just needs to be tagged ;-;
