Honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of their first sex scene, which is the only thing stopping the ML from being a completely green flag in my eyes. He could've been the ultimate consent king but that scene ruined it.
But other than that, this story was portrayed so cinematically and the amount of emotion in the character's eyes reminded me of Define The Relationship. Can't wait to read more from this author.
You can really feel how much both couples love each other . This author is amazing .
The characters have so much depth and the plot is never boring .
Literally nothing likable about him at all.
MC is stupid too for expecting anything good from a rapist, but I get that he has to rely on him for his own safety outside the bedroom
It's refreshing seeing one parent stand up to the other for the sake of their child, right from the start. Normally they act like doormats in front of the more dominant parent.
And that last scene with Byul and Siwoo was so cuuuuute
I don't think I've seen such a green flag relationship in a Webtoon before. Especially one that isn't boring as heck.
Hopefully more authors will realise these kinds of characters are popular too and stop romanticising the normal toxic ones

I love the rational, assertive, mature (not limited to age) and independent type uke a lot. Their cool and relaxed personality is very refreshing to me....In other words I hate whiny, crybaby and weak minded uke.i can never enjoy them let alone feel sympathy when they face trouble lol! So~

He had two people on his side when he was younger, the coach and his coach's mum, so he wasn't all alone and that's not why he turned out worse than Dan. He has every right to be angry and upset about his childhood. Nothing gives him the right to take that out on the people in his life.
The difference between someone redeemable acting traumatised and someone who is a lost cause is genuine remorse, their willingness to apologise and right their wrongs, and their resolve to never repeat their mistakes.
JK han't done any of that. He's still only ever thinking about himself. And that's why he's one of the worse toxic semes I've seen.

It's a shame both Alexei and his scumbag father didn't suffer more.
It's one thing being genuinely naive and falling for a bad guy (which is already boring and frustrating enough).
But it's quite another to know you're dealing with an a-hole and then choose to ignore all of his red flag signs (and then cry about it afterwards).
Why do these authors keeping making these characters with personalities at the start and then turning them into annoying pushovers? Ugh...
They're so much more enjoyable to read about than all these fake green flags
and then turning away with a smirk were badass.
I don't like how some things are going in the story but that part gave me chills . The good kind.
