I hope the author doesn't use this as an excuse to send him back into that a**hole of an alpha's arms. Jihyuk even said something about how that wouldn't be right a few chapters ago so hopefully he'll stick to that.
Best possible ending would be a time skip, then Eunsong and Yoojun finding Jihyuk living happily in another place with someone who deserves him. (And then both of them killing themselves).
It's most likely going to end up like another Yours To Claim though

Someone is either in heat/rut, being forced to pay off a debt with their body, withdrawing consent midway and being ignored, and finally being drugged.

I wasn't referring after the rut or after .. I meant when they became an official couple and u could actually tell how bothered teaju was and how he felt very guilty and regretful.
Ofc rape is still rape and their is no excuse for his actions I am not defending him.
But their was also no reason for teaju to treat "Mc" ( forget his name -) with good treatment. He was just another omega with debt wise teaju was just another alpha .

I don't see any signs that his guilt/regret was genuine because he does the same bad things again as soon as he gets the chance.
And why do characters need a reason to treat others well and not rape them? I hate characters who only treat those they 'love' well.
Either way, I'm not sure what your comment has to do with mine. Them talking doesn't change the lack of consent in this situation.

well he is a red flag turned green that's all.. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
and at the end of it he did turn into a green flag.
idk why people think gangsters would treat anyone good and tbh real life peps treats other's like sht for no reason people only treat others good if they have a reason to.
he's a shtty gangster he said it himself .
and yes them talking does not change the lack of consent .
but they did worked things out and moving forward , helped them to gain trust and more consent .

Since he raped the uke from the start, the most helpful could have become is an orange flag. Which he would have been if he had genuinely changed into a better person. But he didn't. People are just very forgiving unfortunately.
I have no problems with characters starting off as bad characters and then growing into good characters (although rapists are the exception). That's character development. But Taeju stayed selfish right the way through and he's only with Euihyun now because that's what both of them want. Seems more like a case of Stockholm syndrome to me.
I'm just confused about why you mentioned that talking part when it has nothing to do with my original comment?

Which means the writing is really good. I don't generally have an issue with age gaps once the younger partner is over 20 but that wasn't the case here.
However WJ didn't initiate the relationship, despite calling him pretty multiple times which was a little sus.
He does pretty much everything else right though and seems to genuinely care for SH. I wish I could have his level of patience. He's so interesting and I wish we could have side stories about how he grew into the man he is now. The greenest orange flag I've ever read about.
It feels like he genuinely cares about the MC's wellbeing but he's also down bad for him
