Is this kind of tragic? Coz some of comment sayin' that it well make them cry?
the first thirty or so chapters (so basically, most of the flashbacks and also the pre-reconciliation present) are going to hurt like a bitch. Like really, really hurt like a bitch.
it’s not exactly tragic per se but a lot of things happen and basically due to circumstances he couldn’t quite control as well as The shittiest boss ever, Yu Sui not only ends up in the hospital but also hurts (and keeps hurting...) the person he least wanted to, aka our dear Luo Luo.
And on Shi Luo’s side, not only is he too smart for his own good (and for his EQ to catch up) he’s also got a fuck load of trauma stemming from deep set abandonment issues and emotional neglect at the hands of his shitty relatives. Thus, his reaction to certain situations can be pretty extreme, and his relationship to a certain someone got complicated by his own emotional issues.
When all of the above got put together...it turned out Really bad. The only one truly at fault is Ji Yanhan (hes not truly important except as a motherfucker, truly only there to rain curses down on), but as a result of his own personal problems too many ppl got fucked over.
That being said!!!!!!!!!!!! Once you get past that period of suffering it’s all sugar and dog food galore!! They’re truly adorable together, whether it be Luo Luo who fluffs up like a kitten in indignation but also keeps a side account on Weibo to document his relationship and scream about his boyfriend (and getting sprayed by his own fans who think the account is run by a delusional stalker fan lmao), or Slag Man Yu, who loves to tease his little boyfriend to death. The number one thought both of them have about each other just so happens to be “how can he be so good?”

Even the way you described the stuff at the end of your comment doesn't make it sound like fluff. Total opposite in fact. As with the stuff you're trying to not make sound like the fluff... where the douchebag actually suffers. If you're going to question my sanity or anything like that, please remember that if this guy wasn't one of the main characters there would definitely be fewer people raising that kind of question.
Dude, I saw you mentioned in another thread that you only read up to chapter 20 of the novel? The fluff starts way further than that..The angst is long af. Of course you wouldn't understand. As someone who hates to read angst and kept enduring it in this novel, the fluff in this is actually really sweet. I'm right around chapter 90+ and fluff is everywhere.
And Dude, idk how much you already know as to why Yu Sui has made Lou Lou suffer so much...cuz if you've only read up to 20, I get why you would dislike Yu Sui. Everyone hated Yu Sui in the early chapters, everyone thought he was a shitty ass seme who hurt our boy really badly. Story doesn't really help and withheld a lot of information as to why things got really shitty..the reveal is also really slow AF and when it happens, it's not the whole thing. But when it does all come together, it makes so much fucking sense and out of all the characters(tbh) Yu Sui suffered and endured a lot to get to where they are currently now.
Like Honestly, Yu Sui is a good example of someone who's character basically got ruined by the media..he got villainized by the media, his fans abandoned him, the Chinese netizens basically called him all sorts of shit, and the European company that bought him are utter shit and treated their players really bad..Like if he brought Lou Lou with him, he'd end up in a much worst situation and may have even stopped playing the game now..it was that bad. What makes it worse was that people close to him basically fucked up his life and that fuck up ruined his plans for the future..plans that could only be finally realized until now.
Oh yeah, worst thing about that european company is that they'll come back later to make life harder for everyone...not just our MCs...But for everyone lmao.

It's hurts to see that Chowon is suffering for that kind of mental illness and since from the beginning and almost everyone looking at him that he's a badperson , please understand our chowon not because he's beautiful or Rich but as also a human being (fictional Character) my heart hurts because i keep reading and reading this current chapter i wanna give him alots of hug ┗( T﹏T )┛
