I legit teared up at hanwan's and jiyuan's side story where he gives him flowers. It pained me so much knowing hanwan wasn't able to find love or able to confide; but it all ended well :')

it is if you like light slice of life stuff, or if you're into chill reads. i personally enjoyed it because the characters and their personalities we're really interesting, they're hilarious and their dynamics were fun.
the main couple weren't exactly your cookie cutter definition of those characteristics you mentioned, their characters were actually given a bit more depth as the story go on. same thing goes with the side characters, im actually surprised how their backstories paint so much depth into their personalities.
plotwise, it is pretty generic. so if you want more of drama, or more of an active storyline, i guess this isn't for you. although, i think it's something you can read if you want to take a break or if you just want to chill.
