So I want to reread this manga and cannot, for the life of me, find it. Here's the summary:
There is a widower with a daughter (older man) he picks up a beaten up teen boy. This boy is abused by his his constantly drunk gambling parents and has burns and scars all over his body.
They fall in love. The teen is very good with the man's daughter and they become a family.
It's a short story, I think only 2 or 3 chapters and is in a collwction of other stories.

So im looking for a BL i started to read forever ago and then lost. basically it was about these two childhood friends and one of them had a terrible relationship with his mother and thought his friend was telling his mom things he had done to get him in trouble for money and rewards. in retaliation he treats his friend terribly and eventually finds out his friend was covering for him and his mom just knew all the stuff he was doing in other ways. He feels super guilty since he bullied his friend for so long, eventually the friend moves away and then the mc sees him being happy and thriving and realizes just how badly he messed up his life. Throughout this he realized he loved him all this time and tries to redeem himself and get his childhood friend to fall in love with him as well.
