It's good that they get along and support each other in tough times you know but why is the wife not frigging speaking up to her freakin idiotic parents(especially her mom) or to her other family members too i mean i dunno I've read many novels,mangas or manhwas where the main characters are clever and all powerful but in here? Ugh...I really feel liek an idiot by reading this like there's so many choices that they can decide to avoid certain situations but chose not to(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
the thing is, in chinese culture the children might be kicked out if they don't respect their parents cause i mean, it's their parents. So usually they try to put up with everything guess. true it is kinda dumb but its quite realistic in a way as well but i think it mainly lies in culture (unless i'm wrong) it will also ruin her reputation as her parents can contact the grandma (although it most likely won't work because of them being "outcasts' yada yada yada) so yes its dumb but no it's life lol
