I don't think it's that disgusting cuz if yielle met hansel when he was an adult nobody would really care (and probably would say "awwe they are so cute together!), though this argument doesnt really apply in the situation. It's basically like being a kid and having a crush on some cartoon character (except in this case the kid will actually end up with their crush). This literally has a SUPER similar plot to "The Tyrant’s Guardian is an Evil Witch" ( its different but like its also similar ig..) and people love that story. I dont even understand why people think its yucky when so many other stories are similar in this style, plus they haven't even done anything bad its just a kid having a crush lmao

I think you might’ve misunderstood my comment. Im not bothered particularly by the age gap the thing that’s kinda “yucky” is that right now he’s a good whole ass child while she’s technically a hundred year old witch (technically just an adult tho cause of the isekai thing). All I was saying was in justification to them being together since they never thought of the other as family, they’re being separated and Hansel is gonna grow into an adult so it’s not like the FL will actually raise him like a family member and then fall in love with him, and technically rn it’s just a puppy live kinda thing since Hansel is the only one in love (she’s not a pedo/groomer which is what ppl may think).
Back to them meeting when he’s a child, it’s bc Thats before a persons brain matures and it’s common for kids at that age irl to get groomed and stuff through being in relationships with ppl older than them (not what’s happening here). It’s not actually ab the age gap (at least for me) and obviously if they’d met when they’re adults it’d be the cute trope of the older women and younger man which ppl eat up.
