because of overbearing parents that have made me painfully shy when it comes to intimacy. past trauma with a close platonic/crush relationship that has made me pessimistic and more reserved when it comes to sharing my interests/feelings/life etc. now we add a dash of self confidence issues and the fact that no one likes me *chefs kiss* sorta suck......
Honestly, all of these reasons and more. The reason I generally give, and that comes to my mind first, is "it's not like anyone would like me in the first place". I suppose since I can't really think of any particularly positive aspects of myself, I can't imagine anyone levelheaded would ever want to be in a relationship with me. Though I still lac......

I'm not trying to support incest or anything but if two people in love just happens to be in a relationship that society already has known, I'm saying, as someone concerned you should try to accept that. Be it any gender. Gaining Society's acceptance is not it's accomplishment, but being accepted by some people who understands even not being in such relationship might be.
