I was reading the comments to see if I should give this manhwa a try. Would you recommend despite the mL's toxic actions, or do you think he'll be redeemable later or do you have hope he's gonna tone it down later? I understand that not all relationships are perfect but do you think this story will actually address that that isn't acceptable? Or would they romanticize it?

Honestly, I know people are like "did I miss something" since Bai Jinyi said can't I flirt? at the end to little swan lol. That caught me off guard not gonna lie since they've never explicitly said anything but at the same time, they have been all this time! Even though it's not typical of how we understand someone to show and say they love someone, Saying things like, I will be unhappy if you're not here, you're very special/important to me. And renovating a whole space, gifting a baby chick, or flying them out to stay with you for the duration of school, I think Some things you just don't need to put into words. It really makes me pay special attention to their actions and all this time, they 'say' how much they care about each other each and every time they have a back and forth. They're always either doing something or giving something to one another whenever they see each other xD we tend to think we have to outwardly say the conventional way of confessing with the "I wanna get with you" undertones, but I know that's not always the case. Honestly really, I love how seamless it just happened in the story. To us it's a big deal since most of us were under the impression they were either not aware of their feelings or one of them was too slow to realize lol, but to them, it was just another one of the things they say to each already on top of what they already do and show they care/like/love each other. This is just well done. I absolutely adore that.

This is a refreshingly great story. I thought it was going to go the cliche route where he says "yes I will sacrifice myself for you and becomes a dragon at the bottom of the water and leaves everyone behind in an unrealistic way where they just accept it. But chiharu literally is like, this is dumb! We need to find another way. Because chiharu understands that when chiharu eventually dies, Rin is going to need to get another bride and stuff, and it's always been something that rin loathes because it was never pleasurable or fun as most of them were scared. But when Chiharu is like, I can't give this life up. And when he said that, I was like, YESSSSS, we have the Uke male lead whose not a totally naive and accepting lovesick fool but someone with a good head on his shoulders.
