Honestly, I know people are like "did I miss something" since Bai Jinyi said can't I flirt? at the end to little swan lol. That caught me off guard not gonna lie since they've never explicitly said anything but at the same time, they have been all this time! Even though it's not typical of how we understand someone to show and say they love someone, Saying things like, I will be unhappy if you're not here, you're very special/important to me. And renovating a whole space, gifting a baby chick, or flying them out to stay with you for the duration of school, I think Some things you just don't need to put into words. It really makes me pay special attention to their actions and all this time, they 'say' how much they care about each other each and every time they have a back and forth. They're always either doing something or giving something to one another whenever they see each other xD we tend to think we have to outwardly say the conventional way of confessing with the "I wanna get with you" undertones, but I know that's not always the case. Honestly really, I love how seamless it just happened in the story. To us it's a big deal since most of us were under the impression they were either not aware of their feelings or one of them was too slow to realize lol, but to them, it was just another one of the things they say to each already on top of what they already do and show they care/like/love each other. This is just well done. I absolutely adore that.
