Every time I see Derrick it reminds me of how much of an asshole and creep he is. I’m not too sure about this cause of the translation I read but wasn’t there a scene where he had a bird in a cage with the same color as Penny’s hair? Tried to give it to her, she rejected, then he still kept it with him..... in a cage.... and its implied that the bird symbolises Penny.... and that weird obsession with her....
