Hermaphrodites are born with both genitals, but if that were the case then Cheng would've realised he could leave Cinian pregnant, which wasn't the case. It doesn't add up

It is, but because of that and also the dad's reaction when hearing Cinian had a child points to him having some omegaverse sitiation going on. That's also taking in consideration he's likely not intersex as Cheng has stated in the beginning that doing it with a dude is better cause he doesn't have to use a condom(or something like that)

In manga it do remember reading he being hermaphrodite just didnt remember the term, Cheng also knows and doesnt mind Cinian being one

Ci nian has a uterus, basically, despite being a man. I think there are cases like that irl, although very rare.

On a very serious note, though, there is a possibility that Ci nian had a uterus despite being a cis man. I did a thorough read through a website and apparently, it's possible. Hope this answer helps!

.....uh....sorry for this but but why would you mention 'trans' ? Did you mean intersex or hermaphrodite? Because, being trans doesn't mean you can give birth despite being a male but, it means that you can feel like you're a different sex than your assigned one.

usual MPreg rules is that they can have outer male parts.
while having an internal womb.
