I knew the anime will be cutting part from the LN due to last of budget. But I didn’t expect the manga to adapt in a way that literally confused me.
In the manga, as seen, Kumoko evolved again to a fully human form because she swallowed a bomb. This is long after she met Sophia. Also, her second meeting with elf jerkface.
Meanwhile, in the LN, Kumoko already became a “god” before she and the demon king even truced. Way before meeting Sophia, long before her first meeting with elf jerkface I bet.
Also, here, it seems that Kumoko won’t used to her human legs for a while and so, useless until she learns so. In the LN, she was able to change from her human form to her arachnid form with a single thought the moment.
Honestly tempted to read Kumo desu from the very beginning of the LN instead of jumping to when she evolved to an arachnid. Maybe there’s much more I’m missing out from. I won’t be touching the manga until I finish the LN completely (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Apologies, I would like to take back part of my statement. It was a heat in the moment thing while reading vol 5. Manga is indeed missing a lot of details (like demon king and kumoko are actually walking on eggshells around each other Or how vampy baby really hated kumoko for a while)

So the manga is different from the NL. So who’s side is she on I also heard that the person helping her from admin is herself but a god if I remember correctly bc someone had told me that does she fight her? And does she fight the demon queen if she does does she win just tell me the juicy parts pls and the link of the NL I might try reading

So I’ll answer this in order of your questions:
1. She’s currently on the demon queen’s side after Ariel sacrificed her life for her.
2. The person “helping” her is indeed an admin as well as a god however, she’s only doing it for entertainment. Once she joins demon queen side, she’s an enemy.
3. Yes, the admin (who was playing as a student) split part of her soul and inserted into the classroom’s pet spider when the entire classroom was isekai into the new world. Which is why kumoko was born as a spider with wakaba’s soul.
4. They don’t fight again after Ariel killed kumoko the second time. Because kumoko “revives” everytime Ariel kills her, Ariel decided to befriend kumoko.
5. I dunno what you consider juicy but kumoko victory over the earth dragon was cool.
