She saw in her dreams that she was supposed to get married to some old count and she didn't want to have his baby so she ate some herbs when she got her first period so she can won't have her period again which won't let her get pregnant.
ML's family is really weird but to have a child in his family, the wife has to eat the herb to stop her period, and then take some sort of medication for about a year to have their period again and keep having sex with the ML or any male from the taran family.
