I am from Germany and I dont know what you heard, but german schools are pretty boring. There is nothing special about it. Its rare for students to go to clubs. They just have lessons for like 6 hours and then they go home. There are nice teachers and boring teachers (but no mean ones). If something bad happens, there is always a teacher you can talk to. The kids are pretty annoying most of the time. Its better to follow trends, if you wanna get friends easily. But if you are more like an otaku or smth like that, youll find friends too. There are always groups, that welcome new people and love them. Dont know if you can speak german, but many students do speak english just fine - ok probably only the students above the 8 class year. But as long as you’re nice, everything will be fine. There will be probably some people, who are curious about you, since you’re from a different country. Dont be afraid to share things about yourself :) but pls no nudes, except for you want the whole school to see it lol

The rumours I heard were all that the kids are really bitchy and they isolate people and so on, Thats y im kind of nervous about it..(￣∇￣") Im going to 8th grade btw...

Ok haha I think it depends pretty much on where you’re going. I live near hamburg in a small town and the people are actually pretty nice and open, but in bigger towns it might be more difficult. I dont know why, but people in big citys seem to be always more toxic haha But I cant say if that is true... It might be just a rumor, since every person I know that lives in hamburg is actually super nice :) Just be more careful, if you’re in a big city. Small towns are really just the best and way more comfortable haha

As long as your friends are no assholes, they will care for you! Dont worry too much. If they do ignore you, its also not the end. There are always really nice people around. Just keep your eyes open (●'◡'●)ﾉ
