I mean, it didn't start thaaat bad. It had potential ig. The ending is too rushed, like, what about Jace? He just took two punches and that's it. Make him suffer more, idk??
Also I wanted to know a lot more about the brother. I feel so bad for him, I mean yeah he said and did many questionable things but I feel like he could've beem a better character. They just didn't work on him. (And I'm sorry to say that but, for me, he's the biggest smash of the entire story)
I have mixed feelings for the mc, I don't like him but at the same time I feel a little bad.
Reading the ending, all he had to do was shushing Jace one time and it all would've ended. I get why he's "traumatized" and don't blame him for that, but???
And Avery is too good for everyone, he deserves better bro.

Yeah that's why I said that what he does to Deacon is not okay. I'm well aware that he's assaulting Deacon and I'm not okay with it, I'm just saying that outside of that I feel bad for his whole story and how he's treated. He didn't choose to be born evil, and after being killed he came back to life thanks to his love for Deacon whom doesn't and will never love him (or at least for now? Idk how the story will develop honestly). But yeah, I understand both why ppl hate on Dking and that the story isn't meant to be too serious! It was a nice reading so ╮(￣▽￣)╭
