MC is only 20 at the beginning of the novel. But I wouldn’t say this novel focuses on romance. Nothing sexually implied until the extras which is at the end of the novel where MC is overage. They do catch strong feelings when MC is like 17ish I think, but it’s more like a bond of deep respect and care for each other. There are like, 3 kisses total so far. Very shounen ai.
