People are forgetting that from MC’s perspective, the ML straight up hid the truth from her and emotionally manipulated into liking him by showing up in her dreams like that. If I was in her position, I would run away from ML as well. He doesn’t even ask for Elan’s opinion on whether she wants to be with him or whatever. Yes, we see he had a traumatic past but how the heck would Elan have known that??? She’s just doing what she can so that her children will live a peaceful life and get less chance of being killed by the tyrant she knew ML to be(and also from the people who also tried to kill her when she was pushed on the staircase while pregnant, btw).
