However, I for the first time fell in love with the MC and then guess who the author decided to kill? the author then went on showing that he was a fake mc which is why she killed him and then showed who’s the true MC afterward. I still remember the shock but idk why I can’t remember the name I mean it’s been well over 10 years but damn the feeling is still there

In the note, the author said the translation of the title was far from 외사랑 so I searched what "외사랑" meant (pronounced as oesarang),,, Google said Outside Love, which didn't make sense. And then a singer called Davichi has a song called 외사랑 too and the English translation was Old love. So is it Unrequited Love (짝사랑), Old Love, or outside love lol ^^;
