So happy for so many chapters and the progression of the story. Heartbreaking to see the reason for the hatred Claus has (had?) for Athy, her mother chose to give birth (knowing it would cost her life) instead of choosing Claus. The guy with the black hair and color changing eyes is a threat...I wonder if he's the previous emperor (Claus' brother) that maybe survived through magic (although there is magic in the world, they don't focus much on the ramifications of it).
He could also be an illegitimate child, though it wouldn't explain how he knows about Jenette.
It's clear that Jenette is being used as a puppet for other people's schemes and I wonder if her being an artificial child means that she is being controlled, I wonder if the novel Athy read covered those details. Also Jenette is the protagonist of the novel, but it honestly feels like in that novel the antagonists won. So many questions...
She raped him and he asks her to marry him? Couldn't it just be that they slept together and now (due to the times) they have to get married? Why is it always rape, rape, rape in these stories...I swear if the guy's a douche and the girl's weak and dumb...
I’d say she’s pretty fierce though. It’s not everyday that you get to see a woman smash a teacup into another person’s head. She didn’t even flinch from the bleeding on her own hand.
Also, if you think this is cliche, get ready to have that meter skyrocket because this a Chinese manhua and they invented cliche

Actually, she was drug so she did not really "initiated it". She was drug, her consent was not a consent, she was not really aware of what she was doing... and the dude knew that... he heard the all story from his car... he took advantage of her..
Then she didn't rape him, it's the other way around. *sigh* I guess I'm just tired of these stories with the same plot lines, but I'm a masochist because I keep reading them, vicious cycle I tell you...

I know ! I keep seeing story with the same plot line too! Someone (usually a girl) is mistread by someone she knows and trusts (a sister, a "best friend", the entire family) and she is raped and accused of a lot a things... then she flee and cameback for revenge.
I should look at the origin of these stories, maybe that's the "key" :')
I can't...if it were one character, but it's all of them, they are so in your face it's the only thing I can see.
At this point I'm not really sure what the end game for this story is...forget that the development is slow or the fact that the MC is from another world has not played a factor (not sure if it will at all), but the MC (which the story revolves around) has not shown any character growth or development whatsoever and nothing is happening in the story...I can only take looks at her eating breakfast, dressing up and walking through the garden for so long. It could be that this is the quiet before the storm, but I'm not entirely rooting fo the MC (rooting for the Male leads though).
I feel like theres no conflict anymore which makes it boring -.-
Exactly , it's just the same plot since the beginning ...which just makes it boring ... and I just read it for its art
I also feel that at some point she just completely turned into the kid whose body she is now in instead of actually behaving any way mature or different like at the beginning. Development is super slow.
