I do like the manga, and usually I do enjoy re-reading manga (even if they are in progress), but with this manga I find it tedious going over it again, boring even...I guess it doesn't help that the updates have become irregular and slow. I do find the manga cute and sweet; I like the ML, but the FL feels a bit bland (generic) so I find myself rooting for the ML to find his happiness rather than the FL finding hers (not saying I want her to be unhappy, just that it is not a priority), unless they actually ARE each other's happiness, (I don't trust this managaka to allow them to end up together).
I guess the issue I have is that it is slow to update, but at least they are together (for now...again I don't trust the mangaka) and I would like to see a bit more growth from the FL (even with taking her age into consideration).
unless you are keeping up with the novel, this webtoon will leave you feeling like you are missing something and it's a bit all over the place. But I do enjoy it, and it's nice having visuals to go along with the novel.
yep, I'm reading it at this site: https://springraintranslations.wordpress.com/sydn/ usually does 2 chapters per day.
I like the ML, but I can't stand the FL...or any of the other females so far. The story better have a good reason as to why she is like this. One of the few "direct/open with his feelings" male leads and they pair him with this girl (he just wants to be friends and she can't even give him that...). If it were funny it would be fine, but I just feel really bad for the boy, surrounded by harpies and this dense (weird and not in a good way) girl who he likes.
It reminds me of Koi dano Ai dano (really recommend btw), but not as fun or funny.
It's only 4 chapters so far, so I hope we get more development.
I truly am enjoying this manga, but aside from a few misunderstandings, everything else has been going smoothly...and that worries me, because it means that something is going to mess up their lovey-dovey time very soon T_T : a teacher/parent/social worker finding out and they meddle where they are not needed; a family member wishes to take care of Fumi (either moving her away or also interfering where they are not needed); her dad coming back and telling her she cannot see Akatsuki until she's older (be it 18 or finishes university, etc); family members from Akatsuki's side bring trouble...
So many ways to destroy this happy couple, and I don't mind these things happening (...well hopefully not all of them, because geezz), but that at the end they do end up together (I cannot take another HNR), and I also do not mean keeping them apart for 30+ chapters, and then reuniting them in the lasts 5 pages of the final chapter (the last page being a "glimpse into their future", showing only their backs as they each hold the hand of their daughter/son).
I can't trust mangas anymore, been screwed over/disappointed too many times.
I'm grateful for the update, but with how infrequent and short these chapters are getting, plus the fact that some chapters don't really progress the story, it really causes a lot of stress. Think I'll leave this manga alone for a year or two and then read whatever chapters have been added; been having to do this with quite a few manga and even more so with the manhuas (which are like 6-7 pages per chapter usually, with random updates).
On their website the scantalation group indicated that this manga/manhua will be downgraded from being a daily update (which wouldn't be so bad if it's chapters weren't so short). It is stressful now, and we usually get 2 chapters per day, can you imagen a weekly or monthly schedule?
The details are here:
https://trashscanlations.com/series/miao-shou-xian-dan/1-10/chapter-9-3?manga-paged=11
Support the group and vote for this manhua in the polls, so it stays on the weekly update list.
Almost caught up to raws anyways
I'm happy to finally get some closure for this manga, thought I dislike that the last 2 vol. felt rushed (considering the regular pace for this manga was as slow sludge).
But they got their happy ending and everyone ended up with their loved ones (though I wouldn't mind a side story of how Yamato acted during Mei's pregnancy), so I'm content.
Now if only Kimi ni todoke would finish...T.T
