Every single one of them were dicks to the poor girl...the only decent one was the absentee Hollywood father...and the dude... I slept with you, I then find out you're my sister (not) and I break up with you, then orders her to marry him and leave her career, then reprimands her for buying a property that was theirs before and tells her to leave and then goes after her to bring her back (like she's a stray cat)...what the fuck

I'm still on chapter 2, but I'm confused...the summary says the little fox is a girl...in the beginning they refer to the child as "young master" , the guys in the car refers to the child as a she then starts using he after they go to the police station...so the fox child is female or male?

From reading the translator's notes apparently the author switches between using he/she/it when referring to the child. I'm not really sure what importan plot point does keeping the gender ambiguous play in the story, but with so few chapters and little information, it could mean anything and might be tied to this whole "calamity" thing that will be occurring.

I agree with a few people here, Sooah might've had a sad childhood but it was not the worst type of childhood. Usually in these cases you would try to be better than how you were treated (knowing how it feels and not wishing it upon another person).
She just decided to become something equally as ugly as those who treated her badly. It can be forgiven as a child (we don't know any better), but as an adult you have no excuse and will not garner any sympathy (at least not from me).
And the whole "why me, why me..." tantrum...the same could be said for the FL "why her, why did you do and say those things to the FL?" I bet Sooah doesn't ask that question instead, does she? Always acting the victim while victimizing others...
The mother is an idiot and weak-willed, the father is an asshole with anger issues and paranoia. And a grown woman calling her mother "mommy, mommy" throughout the whole story was ridiculous, thought the story was about a grown ass woman, not a 7yr old.
...and how was this story cute?
lmao as a 24 year old who still calls her mother "mommy" I dont think it's abnormal. But hey if you dont like the story you dont like the story ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
As a 21-year-old who calls their father "Daddy", I feel personally attacked by OP, lol.
Sorry if you felt attacked, didn't mean for that . I also sometimes use the term with my parents, but with her it was constantly and her idiot behaviour didn't make it any better (it was like a watching a child). It wasn't my real issue with her, but the cherry on top of her bad character development of a Sunday Icecream.
lol, it's okay. I was just kidding.
Oh I didn't mean that in a mean way...I put funny and laughing faces in my comment...( ̄∇ ̄") but they didn't show and it came off as resting bitch face toned...sorry!ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Me being a 22 year old and still calling my mother mummy or mommy's :
