How did you verify the age?

i didnt download the app,i didnt even check if there is one tbh xD i just go to the website from a web browser on my phone or laptop.

you send an email to [email protected] with a copy of your ID,you can blur out all the private info but keep your name and age visible.also DONT forgot to state your bomtoon ID,the one you used to register to the website,whether its your gmail,facebook or whatever,just write it down in the email as well.

oh and they will reply with an email in korean,if you google translate it,it will read something like "i have helped you with authentication of you age" this means it was successful.

Registering was piece of cake - I did it instantly with my FB account. I think you can also do it via Twitter or Google.
Purchasing coins is the tricky part - you have to choose between 8 methods of payment, and I think the only one available for foreigners is the one represented by a Globe icon and translated as "Overseas" (just as it's pointed out in the screenshots from the imgur link above:)
After you select that method and press the big pink button, a small window will pop up, and you'll be prompted to introduce your credit card's info.

I'm not sure it works though...because I didn't finalize the steps. I refuse using my credit card on sites like this. I only buy from websites that accept PayPal, like Lezhin, Kobo etc...

It doesn't look like it'll be possible to buy it unless you have a Korean phone number to verify that you're 18+. Very unfortunate. What made Lezhin so convenient was the ability to buy from overseas without restriction.

Good writeup. I agree with most of it except that I believe in the beginning, Sungho did care for Dohyun's well-being (evidently by how he bathed Dohyun, shaved him, took care of his neck wound, fed him, bought him cigarettes) although it was overshadowed by his hate. It was true that he hurt, threatened to cut Dohyun's arm off, and tried to starve him but in the end, he wavered and didn't follow up with any of it. The rape was the only thing that he never relented because it was on a schedule.

Speaking of schedule, I forgot which chapter but in that chapter Sungho said that he would start doing the same thing to Dohyun what Dohyun did to him in high school. That means all the specifics of their sexual encounters (or rapes if you prefer) up to that chapter (albeit following a schedule) were just whatever Sungho fancied of doing at the time.

I think another thing that has motivated Sungho is internal homophobia. He stated a couple of times that he thought people who felt like this were disgusting, that Dohyun made him the way he was because he wanted to have sex as high schoolers and Sungho didn’t. Therefore, I think Sungho really thought he hated Dohyun for “making him gay” and then breaking up with him, so he kidnapped him and did all the things to Dohyun that Dohyun “forced him to do” as a high schooler.

They did say in their tweet they will meet again so I think they'll be searching for another platform/waiting for the end of their contract. Whalegrim mentioned something about November but I don't know if that would be for a continuation of Warehouse, or another project.

It is sad...I sincerely hope they will be able to find another platform. Unfortunately even when they do find one, it may be very difficult for anyone outside Korea to support them. I really hope they would consider some kind of digital self-publishing because I think they have so many international fans that could help keep it alive.

The final chapter does not really give any closure but it looks like it's a closer look into Dohyun's mental state. I'm glad they did this instead of cutting it off totally abruptly...like Sadistic Beauty did.

the new chapter made me sad :( what the hell happened? so in the end Dohyun does get set free,but what happened to Sungho? i mean this is better than nothing i guess.
i hope they do continue with it on another platform,although if they are leaving Lezhin,there is a possibility that Lezhin has ownership over warehouse,so they cant publish it anywhere else......i have seen other writers who quit lezhin say they are starting with another project once their contract is over,not continuing their previous works.so it kinda makes me concerned :/

Yes, the question of rights can be very confusing...also different artists may have different contracts. And I see now it was not November, but the 11th. We'll just have to see what they say in the future.

I guess at the moment it's left open so you can imagine whatever kind of future for them that you want, lol. I would rather have that then a really bad rushed ending. But I think if the artists really had no hope that it would ever be able to continue due to copyright, they would have ended it a bit differently, such as with some hint at what happened to Sungho in the past.

I can't read Korean but at least from the images it definitely isn't over. There were some flashbacks from Dohyun, then Sungho comes in and he faints or something. It would be a really weird spot to end the story, or even the season, just looks like a normal chapter.

Season 2 is like 8 chapters. I'm sure they originally didn't plan it to cut it short like this. I'm kinda disappointed.

Here's a summary: Dohyun was sitting alone in the room. It was raining outside the window and it brings back memories.

"One day, I raised a dog."

On that rainy day, he had a cold and called in sick. I think he got fired. He went outside to smoke and saw a dog hiding under a car. He took the dog in, dried him up and gave him milk. The landlord came by to look at the water pipe and the dog barked. The landlord got mad at Dohyun for keeping the dog in the studio. So Dohyun was like, "I'll get out."

He rented a tiny room in a hotel and took the dog with him. Next day, he went shopping for food. I think he found a new job (or is that the old job?) and was happy that he could feed the dog. But when he got back to the hotel, the dog was having a spasm. He took the dog to a clinic (?) and left with the collar, thinking about how he only had the dog for 2 days.

Now alone in the hotel with the dog foods and collar in the trash can, he thought about his mother when she left him. She told him to work for his uncle and aunt and asked him to call her if he needed anything. She said she loved him even if they didn't live together. He said, "Me too."

The internal monologue continued about how that was just a momentary feeling. There was no point in having relationships and whining about what can't be done. He enjoyed these momentary things. However, he felt that he might be lonely but loneliness was also momentary so it was ok anyway.

Then some bubbles of someone yelling hateful things at him. (Either his ex-girlfriends, uncle, not sure).

Some flashbacks of being raped and tortured.

"The result is falling to pain and suffering. This is the opposite direction. If the ending is the same as the beginning, what have I been doing?"

Tears started falling.

"How could I avoid suffering? Was it wrong that I didn't now what was wrong?"

Something about if he should be do stuff with Sungho until he died. (Maybe???)

"What are you holding on for? Does it matter if I go outside? Is there anything left for me?"

More monologue on his loneliness and his existence and someone without memories and connections. Then something about how being a ghost feels good???

Basically, I think he blanked out and died inside.

Later on, Sungho was in the room. He saw that Dohyun didn't touch the water or the sandwich. (No more rice balls?) Sungho tried to give Dohyun water but Dohyun fell over.

Now comes Sungho's monologue. Some of it gets voiced out.

This. This is not what I wanted. So what is it? Anguish. Dohyun. I'm sorry.

Yep. That's the gist of it... They're still together. I didn't try so hard 'cause I was a bit upset due to the season ending. Not sure how long we'll have to wait to see more, if ever at all.

I'm really confused as to what's going on? I heard there's some bigger issue in general with webcomics/doujinshi artists going on in Korea - like it's not only a Lezhin issue, is that right?

i think there were issues that they didnt get proper amount from overseas chapters (japan and usa branch of lezhin ) and also percent of amount they get from releases wasnt correct or sth? issue with webcomics/doujinshi is from last year, so i dont think this is the problem.

Am sad that Lezhin is such a shady company,and that some of our favorite works are on there :/ it was such a promising platform but now all these complaints from the authors about being mistreated or stolen from are coming out.lezhin needs to shut the fuck up,give in to its artists and pay them what they are worth.they wouldnt make shit without the artists.

Sigh...I just hope the author and artist will be okay. This situation is upsetting the creators so much that it's hurting their health as well as their income. I am not optimistic about what will happen with Lezhin, but I hope there is some resolution.

But rather than no new chapter this week,i think i saw the author announced she is cancelling it on Lezhin but will try to show us the story soon.am not sure cause obviously i dont understand korean,but i hope it all ends well.

I don't think it's gone as far as cancellation yet. Just a hiatus for some length of time, and she promises to work hard to show readers the remaining story as fast as possible. My Korean is really basic but I've gotten good at reading hiatus notices in these past months, lol...

I saw Koogi from Killing Stalking made some tweets in English about this as well. Maybe that will help. If anything will make English readers aware of the situation it will be knowing it's Lezhin's fault that Season 3 isn't out yet.

My vote is Dohyun, who was still kind of a *ick back as a kid, was possibly raped by their other classmates. Or perhaps Sungho was by one of them when he was expecting Dohyun and it was brushed off. I only think the first part is more plausible because it would be dramatic enough for Dohyun to vaguely remember that time. At first, based on his home life, I thought maybe his uncle had...but, well, I don't see Dohyun cutting things off from him because of family; peer pressure is potent.

Oh, this mysterious soul of a crazy maniac...

.....so sungho is comforting him....while being a complete monster? Wow...


Side note: I really give kudos to this manga for making a more realistic situation than a lot of BL comics out there. :/ This story is terribly sad and not really "fun" to read. It's beyond twisted.

Dohyun looked like he was about to cry throughout the past chapter...not surprised he finally did. He was pushed beyond his physical and emotional limit. His expressions all chapter killed me inside. Looks like they also killed Sungho, but too late.

Now will Sungho help Dohyun by cleaning him up and treating his injuries, or will he throw a huge pity party for himself because he's just suddenly realizing that he might be the bad guy here? : / I hope for the former and expect the latter...

From what the spoilers said, I found the concept of a someone raping a person and then trying to comfort them as horrible....so I said Sungho was a monster for doing something like that? Not that he wasn't one already but this guy gets more twisted every chapter.....that's what I meant.

I kinda knew he would cry. Im not suprised. Tbh, I would write a story same way as author did.

Just read chapter 42 raw on Lezhin... it was heartbreaking, and that was not even understanding the dialogue exchanges. Dohyun has definitely reached his breaking point... and honestly, it's about time. I'd have gone nuts by now if I were him.
