I'm gonna be shameless but everytime I read this I can't help but think of a danmei novel called "Waiting For You Online", so I recommend this novel for anyone who likes this webtoon and maybe wants to read something similar...

So okay tldr of the front chapters, Jaehyun mistakes that Easen is his actually his friend (the small orange haired guy) trying to prank him but yeah it's not and Easen is actually Eunsung and he finds out that Jaehyun is Lucia and he gets mad (read my earlier spoiler). So Jaehyun apologises and asks Eunsung to not tell anyone that he's been catfishing as a girl. You'll realise here that Jaehyun has a bit of social anxiety? And he cares a lot about what people think of him to the point where he nearly has a panic attack just from the confrontation (more on that later). So Eunsung says fine, I won't tell anyone but as repayment he wants Jaehyun to date him in real life for 3 months. Anw the gf that Jaehyun saw with Eunsung is actually his younger sister lol and the gf Eunsung was referring to was his in-game gf. So yeah they date and at first Jaehyun thinks Eunsung is doing this to punish him, but later at some point Eunsung realises he actually has feelings for Jaehyun and vice versa. They date for real now but in secret because Jaehyun doesn't want people to know (because he's scared of what people would think of 2 guys dating). And it's cute, for like a bit. Like they date in game and irl and its really cute UWU

Enter Jungwoo. Jungwoo was mentioned in the earlier chaps about how Jaehyun and Jungwoo are always together and how some girls were saying that that's probably why Jaehyun is still single at the freshman party (about how they were really close). He's having exchange abroad at the moment and he came back. Jungwoo seems like a nice guy but HE ISN'T. He realises that Eunsung has something with Jaehyun and then he stalks/sends someone to stalk them and unbeknownst to our main couple, they were sitting on a bench and they kissed and someone snapped a photo of that. So Jungwoo basically says he's in love with Jaehyun (but the dude is obsessed and possessive as fuck), kind of declares war with Eunsung and does a lot of fake shit because he's a FAKE ASS SHIT. And then this dodgy ass so called friend threatens Eunsung with the pictures to spread it and says like "Jaehyun will break up with you" in every scenario do u want me to release these pics and hurt him and THEN have him break up with you, or do you want to break up with him first. So just as Jaehyun is about to give Eunsung a couple ring, Eunsung breaks up with him.

But wait, Eunsung isn't a dumb fool and he's not gonna sit around doing nothing. So in the meantime he sends people to investigate what happened with Jaehyun before, that caused him to have this social anxiety thing cos he suspects Jungwoo has something to do with (he does). Then Jaehyun is pretty upset and he drinks and gets drunk and Jungwoo brings him to his house. Then as Jaehyun is asleep/conked out, the DAMN MOTHERFUCKER JUNGWOO has the nerve to FUCKING KISS HIM. LIKE A DAMN MOLESTER. Jaehyun wakes up in the middle of the night and is like what's this red mark on the side of my mouth did I fall. And just then he sees Jungwoo has a phone call from an unknown number and he, BLESS HIS SOUL, picks up. It's a woman yelling about how she regrets making a deal with Jungwoo and how he's ruined her life. (this is also the woman who's involved in whatever trauma that made Jaehyun have that social anxiety thing) So then Jaehyun unlocks Jungwoo's phone and DUNDUNDUN he sees Eunsung's text exchange with Jungwoo, all the pics he sent and took etc. Eunsung's messages warn Jungwoo that Jaehyun is not his puppet, and that he's done what Jungwoo said to (i.e. break up).

And that's where this ends for now. I'm waiting for Chapter 50 to be out on 12/7.

Don't know if this topic will get much attention but a few people helping me out would be greatly appreciated, I'm just trying to work out how old the main characters are throughout? SEE BELOW FOR MY THEORY. Just skip to the end if u don't wanna see my working out.

There is a time skip at chapter 15 as the narration says the racing event became an annual thing and was popular in the "passing years", which means it definitely at least 2 years.

I know that Soohyuk is gonna be under 15 by chapter 23 because he says "but sir I am not yet-" which made me think he's not of the "legal" age yet? Unless it's for another reason.

Keeping this in mind with the fact that 2-3 years have passed since we first met him, I can kinda conclude that Soohyuk must have been 12 when we first met him. I kinda assumed Wolfgang might be a year older than Soohyuk too? To be honest this is mostly speculation. But I'd put him at 13 when Sooyuk is 12.

I would also place Wolfgang at 13 when we first meet him because it has been "5 years" (stated in chapter 1) since he went missing and from the scenes of him with his mother, he looks to be about Dandelion's age, so, 8 for instance, which would make sense for him to be 13, 5 years later.

Therefore, with these speculated ages in place, I would personally establish Soohyuk at 14 years old and Wolfgang at 15 in chapter 23.

There seems to be a bit of a time gap between chapter 25 and 26 too. I can vaguely suggest that it is a 3 year gap, because Wolfgang says "the 3rd prince babbled a few years ago" [which happened in chapter 19] and a "few" by definition is "3 or more", or at the least, "2".

Dandelion, having been referred to Depennia as a toddler (1-3 years) and kept there for 8 years, I reckon he's about 8 when we first meet him. This is purely because by chapter 31 when it is explicitly stated that he is 13 years old, there have already been time skips in chapter 15 and 26. Which span 4 years at the least, 6 at the most. I put it at 5 for balance.

I get the impression that Sys is older than the others by perhaps 3-4 years? He just comes across that way and during his back-story, he seemed older than Soohyuk (though I do know Soohyuk looks young for his age), also his sexual promiscuity (to an extent) is prevalent near the start and the reaction from his guard in chapter 8 makes me think he's gotta be legal age (I'm English, the legal age for sex is 16 but it might be different in this world). Either way, I'm speculating 16-17-18 years old when we first meet him.

Of course, I have taken into account the translation and the difference in definition of time transition in Korea, but I'm gonna work off the English translation basis because that is all I can do, ahahaha.

OKAY, so overall, I've concluded:

Chapter 15: Time skip (2-3 years)
Chapter 26: Time skip (2-3 years)

Conclusion: 5 year gap in total. Make that a nice solid number, plus it's symbolic since the prince was missing for 5 years now he's done so much in 5 years.

Thus, it puts the beloved characters at (when we first meet them):
Soohyuk: 12 years old.
Wolfgang: 13 years old.
Dandelion: 8 years old.
Sys: 16 years old.

TIME SKIP 1 (2 years):
Soohyuk: 14 years old.
Wolfgang: 15 years old.
Dandelion: 10 years old.
Sys: 18 years old.

TIME SKIP 2 (3 years):
Soohyuk: 17 years old.
Wolfgang: 18 years old.
Dandelion: 13 years old.
Sys: 21 years old.
