Claude did some black magic voodoo shit not just one, but multiple, to
1) forget Diana & all things related to her, &
2) kill his emotions.
So on the 1st timeline which we know is the original The Lovely Princess, he legit doesn't recognize Athy. He's like an empty vessel, wondering who's the little sht running around claiming to be his daughter.

However in this timeline, he met Athy when she was just 4 y/o (or was it 5? Lol), and the spells aren't complete yet that's why things didn't escalate like the 1st timeline.

The reason why he accepted Jeannette in the 1st timeline is because Jeannette's longing for a family manifested to a black magic voodoo sht where she can charm ppl with her aura. That's why the ppl loved her despite Athy being the more capable princess.

Athy's "nightmares" where she saw Claude collapsing while Jeannette was worrying on the side is all the consequences of the magic he did on himself.

Conclusion: Claude was a brokenhearted wuss, was an irresponsible father, but we're forgiving him because he legit seems want to be a better father. Anastacius on the other hand can go choke.

Btw, Lucas did a similar spell on him, the killing emotions whatnot stuff.

* I read somehwere that the current anastacius has been possessed with a black magician or something (I think 2 souls are sharing 1 body;the magician and anastacius) since we saw lucas in memory of ‘anastacius’ even though they haven’t met yet and they didn’t know each other(lucas has been sleeping for more than a hundred years so there’s no chance anastacius knows him it can only be a magician from lucas’ time, hundred of years ago). I think the other one on anastacius body is the ugly magician we saw, the one who have shoulder length hair and wearing robes but I can be wrong lol but yeah in conclusion: Anastacius has gone real real crazy amd should die already.

*Spoon(the manhwa author) changed the manhwa a bit from the novel because in the novel, Claude should have already been healed by this time. Lucas wacked the branch of tree of life or something to his head and he remembered everything (I didn’t read the novel but I think he also remembered their past life)

* In the novel, the only reason why Claude loved Jeannette in their 1st life is because of black magic.

*Current timeline Athy (our athy) is also the 1st timeline athy (lovely princess athanasia, the one claude executed). So basically korean athy is reincarnation of 1st timeline athy and then Lucas did something (not our lucas but another dimension lucas) so that korean athy can be reincarnated or transmigrated to become our current timeline athy. Also in some other dimensiom, Lucas (not our lucas but other dimension lucas) saved diana so athy, diana, and claude lived happily ever after. The dimension/timeline thingy is really complicated and took me a long time before I understood it but yeah in conclusion there’s only one athy lol.

Also another dimension/timeline = another universe. For example, in fairy tail if u have watched or read it, they have edolas and earth land version. The same character but different setting, situation, and even personality. To simplify it even more, its a parallel universe lololol so difficult ah.

He sleeps w dragon and honestly I’m glad because I really don’t want him to end up with the prince, if he does they would constantly be playing mind games. I’m willing to place a bet of one penny that dragon and suu is the end goal because in the second to most recent chapter the prince was like “I’m sad in the end he didn’t take anything with him”, which I think marked the end of suu and the prince’s relationship. And before the dragon and suu sleeps together he thinks abt nahan(?), his childhood crush, and the prince, and then they do the duty. ALSOOO the dragon is implied to have the largest dick size soooooooOoO ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I mean it's incredible how realistic her way of thinking is. She's funny, cute but at the same time a little egoistic too. I'm sick of all these villainess who are more virtuous than the heroine or the badass girls. Can't we have a normal person only? Like the villainess can be a simple person, with just some misfortune or things not working her way.

Ginger is the perfect mix. A good person with her desire to be happy and have thighs working her way once in a while. Who doesn't wish for a bit of happiness at this world? It's extremely realistic as character and that's why I feel her so close more than any other isekai's protagonists.

This story isnt even that bad, the fl can feel and think whatever she wants, you guys would think the same way she does if you guys where in her position

Just finished the first season on the official site and holy shit what a magnificent epic! I can barely find words to encompass the depth of this webtoon, so here my jumbled thoughts:

1) Wolfgang is such a special, special character. There is so much nuance and growth to him, all the while remaining faithful to his lifelong benevolent nature. He's obviously positioned as the underdog from the get-go and it seems obvious that you are to root for him, but it really is the journey you go on with him that spans years that made it especially beautiful. Also, his more adult design towards the end was gorgeous.

2) A really, really well-done epic that mixes fantasy, political intrigue, family, and historical references. Seriously, I stayed up until 5AM reading the first chapter and had to come here to word-vomit my feelings. I have to work in a few hours. T_T

3) Loved the subtle romance that grows between the Wolfgang and Soohyuk. I cried a lot because there was always so much uncertainty, but that ending (at least for Season 1) was just *chef's kiss*. I just want them to be together forever. T_T

4) Fair warning: It deals with a LOT of really dark themes that I did not expect when I began reading. I can normally stomach pretty dark stuff, but violence against children really gets to me. The story was way too good to give up, but just want to note this. I appreciated the trigger warning provided in one/some of the chapters, but definitely needed more and hope folx who may have been triggered by the content are okay.

I get why some are irritated with suu cuz he isn’t the good hearted protagonist we often see but rlly he’s the only one I care about.. All of his choices are for his survival, he doesn’t give a shit abt the higher ups feud and I don’t give a shit abt it too, as long as there’s rain The people are happy who cares abt legitimacy.

I just want him to be happy and free and I actually want him to backstab Jin suryeon -not that it would ruin the prince or anything as suu already stated, I just think that suu needs to get back at him for all the shit he went through bcs of him.. I Just want the prince to feel some pain after treating people like trash

the crown prince is a fucking piece of shit that manipulated him since day one, alters with his memories and used his only friend against him and when he treated him like a whore by giving him money after suu told him that it’s not the reason why he slept with him made my blood boil.

Like I get it that he likes him and is interested in him and all but he’s too much of a calculating prick to change and be honest with suu and the power dynamic is too unbalanced.. like suu might have the illusion to be on equal grounds with him sometimes, like when he smiles at him and all but then every time suu doesn’t act like he wants him to or makes him irritated, jin’s behavior changes completely and reminds him of his position like the time he slapped him for example..

So yeah I’m not rooting for them

His past with nadan is really heart wrenching tho like he really does everything for him and sacrificed his innocence for him by taking the dirty jobs for his sake, but really that just ruined their relationship, nadan is too much of a good hearted guy to take that burden.

The one relationship I’m really rooting for is with the dragon kid, I don’t care how they end up, be it friends or lovers idc as long as they end up happy, it’s the relationship with the less complications and they both don’t have much choice in their lives, the dragon was summoned for the royal family and the country.
Like suu he’s just a piece in the royals’ power struggle. He didn’t ask for this shit he’s only there for suu really.. and suu is starting to care for more and more abt him now so I can see their relationship develop in a more healthy way as the dragon is the only one that’s honest with him

I can't stand the Mc anymore
No matter how I look at it, she sounds like an ignorant and naive little girl. Most of her decisions so far were dumb. When you are a duchess, you are not only the duke's wife, you must also manage the household (which is a thing that many girl of nobility have to learn), have a flawless etiquette, attend to social events to help your husband building connection with the wives of influential nobles.

But since romance webtoons with this kind of setting aren't supposed to have a realistic and complex plot I will just stop complaining and continue reading for the ML ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Ibelina was a very rare MC in this situation. If you compare her to other MC who became a damsel in distress situation they usually panic and get scared or sometimes get out to their hiding place and block the Male lead when they about to get attackedヾ(☆▽☆) while her she have a different reaction.

Raeliana - The one who was supposed to be killed for the plot of the story but instead lived because of Eunha. ( Eunha's body in the novel)

Eunha's soul was supposedly in Beatrices body, but then this witch who is in love with the duke, transferred to Beatrice's body which is the reason why Eunha went to Raeliana's body. Just like what Iosa said, Beatrice was his fated one, but Eunha's soul supposedly owns Beatrice's body.. So originally Eunha and the Duke are fated lovers. The Goddess was the one who decided to transfer Eunha to Raeliana's body because someone is already in Beatrice's body (ugh that bitch (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ ) .

I have an insane theory for the future of this story You all say that Raeliana's body have Beatrice's soul (or another soul it depends of theories) and Beatrice's body have raeliana's soul .... It's possible that Raeliana's soul is searching to re-switched their souls like initially. This would be logical, because Noah loves Raeliana now, so this is in Raeliana's soul interest to return in her own body, to have Noah who was one of her goal, obviously Noah would see that it's not his Raeliana, but it's would be REALLY complicated to break the mariage explaining that Raeliana is not really raeliana etc... somewhere evil Beatrice would have won... And more funny perhaps evil actions of evil Beatrice would be find (thanks to Justin for example) but she will succeed to switch body so the really person sentenced to death wouldn't be evil Beatrice but our Raeliana .... it's just theory huh, I'm imaginating things for fun hahaha (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I think Survive as the Hero's Wife is a bit similar from its beginning concept but I find it a lot more enjoyable than this. Although in Survive as the Hero's Wife the ML was the mc of the book and not second male interest like in this (I’m talking about their roles in the books the FLs read). They dealt with similar hardships in their childhood although the ML in Sincerely literally had no one (before the FL came) and the ML in Survive he does have a brother and people outside the castle, he still when through hardships (with the queen trying to kill him and all). I like Survive as the Hero's Wife better cuz for one the FL comes there as a child (same age as ML) and the ML isn’t pushy and I love their relationship and how that relationship became official, it’s just more smooth and adorable. Not that I dislike Sincerely just I’m not completely in love with it. Like the MLs personality after his marks were gone just became less likeable (personally). I mean it’s understandable since he’s like still not an adult but personally not my thing
