Ngl these comments are disappointing. This whole bit was actually written well. We knew from the get go Ceasar was going to be toxic af and Leewon would be the forgiving king he is. The author explained well in the early chapters how Ceasar doesn’t have the common sense that WE common folks have. No one taught him anything. Its like asking a wild animal to be a house pet and not teach him anything how to be that but expects him to do exactly the opposite of how he lived all his life. He was raised to be violent and narcissistic and the author has been so consistent with that despite the negative comments cause it is somewhat accurate. Rewiring your brain to do something else the feels natural to you is HARD WORK especially for someone who was raised in such environment OF COURSE its gonna take over the side stories too cause character development doesn’t work overnight. REWIRING YOUR BRAIN doesn’t work overnight. This chapter was great and serves as an anchor and also gives the realization Leewon understands what he’s getting into. Hes trying to spend his life loving someone who doesn’t know the correct way to love. Its gonna be toxic and thats why hes called king for a reason. Its good. THIS IS GREAT not just cause im a simp for Leewon, couldnt care less about Ceasar. But author plastered the “just cause you love someone doesn’t mean they can magically teach you how to love.” its a process. thats why the chapter ended like that. It is a pain to be someones firsts in everything especially so with ceasar cs the man has been through a lot. I HAVE MORE TO SAY BUT ITS TOO LONG AUGH
The sudden shift to psychological horror at the end LMAO
