Okay, hear me out. I'm currently on chapter 89, the scene where Erez rushed to check on Kiera after the dragon attack. I see a lot of readers trying to guess who's the ML. Here's my take according to what I've read so far
Erez concerns are rooted on his ability as a Magician not genuine romance. I mean, he was introduced as a Magician who was so absorbed in Magic research that he locked himself in the Magic Tower. He calls himself as the greatest Magician. He took interest on Kiera because of the Magic he performed to turned back time. He wants to perfect that Magic and to know why he did that even though it's flawed. Basically, he hangs around Kiera because they're the only ones who really know what's happening. Now, I'm not saying that he can't or didn't develop any feelings for Kiera but what I can see now is he's more interested in Magic than Kiera and it's just his carefree personality that creates those heart fluttering scenes but we'll see
I'm rooting for tho lol. Idk, Sir Joseph has a weak ML energy
