I have a feeling this will break me just as much as mission save the hunter..
It has happy ending. But omg the angst gets so bad. Like the manhwa was sad enough, I cried while reading it and since it was incomplete I read the novel. Brother... that ended me I'd have to stop reading just to bawl my eyes out, my eyes swelled up from crying. Thank god I read it on a weekend bc I could not show my face in public after the roller-coaster it took me on. Like their relationship was the only fluffy thing about that book but it was so good so I recommend it a lot.

My poor dude just wants some privacy. Is that really so hard to give him. He has shown numerous time to the ML that he is not good with PDA. Korea is so fucking conservative like it's not funny. ML doesn't understand the fear of being judged not only by strangers but people you trust as well. Especially in conservative countries, in places where being gay is deeply frowned upon even your closest friend of fucking years can turn their back on you just because of who you love. I'm happy that the ML was brought up with rainbows and lollipops were everything is like the song "imagine" by John Lennon. But he has to learn to empathize with people especially HIS BOYFRIEND. Like the gossip old women of church might not mean shit to the ML but to MC those oldies have connections to his parents. Nothing hurts more then being a dissapointment to the people who raised you just because of who you love.
Remember no one needs to be brave and come out. No one owes that to anyone. If they do it's their own decision in which they weighed the consequences whether it be good ones or bad ones. It effects their lives therefore it's their choice. Closeted people also deserve to have someone to love even if they don't what to go around showing the world who their lover is, it doesn't mean they love their lover any less then someone who is out. So to the people who are yapping that the MC isn't ready for a relationship just because he isn't ready to come out, don't understand that coming out ist an act of love towards their partner, but an act of freedom to themselves.
I honestly think that the ML is irredeemable. He even attacked the MC as soon as he saw him. Like the MC went through a bunch of shit alone in the 7 years. He didn't even get in contact with his sister until like a month before he saw the ML again.
The ML always assumed the MC was cheating and the author didn't even give him a reason to do that. I feel like if the ML had more of personality or maybe if he had more concrete "proof" of the MC cheating. MAYBE his actions could've been justified. But the ML had 0 reason to assume the MC was sleeping around.
I feel like mucchan could've been a better ML BUT ONLY with serious reworking of his character. If he had been colder even a bit mean to the MC instead of a bully that was harassing him. Then they could've met again when the MC gave birth. He could've had a redeemable arc in which he understands that his feelings and learns to express them in a different way. I feel that could've worked.
But idk this story honestly just needs a lot more fleshing out. I feel like the author tries to write a story focusing on redemption but just didn't know how to write it. I mean if you like it it's fine. It's not the best but it's not shitty either. But I just feel it had potential. For what it's trying to be it did fine.
Uyun is looking extra fine this episode ngl
