im not even gonna participate in the art argument but why haven’t any talked about sam and his choices yet??? like... this dude is playing sherlock holmes when he’s actually a full time pharmacist.... AND THEN- AND THEN HE MAKES THE MOST ?!?!?!? CHOICES EVER???? like this dude was making a WHOLE entire hero speech in front of the crime boss like he had superpowers or something??? dude literally had four The Rock looking ass bodyguards around him and sam was like “this will definitely work” like wtf bro.... you had no backup, no plan, just went out like that... mans think that just because he has Superman body means that he can beat all

honestly i love deguchi!!! the fact that he stood up for himself against onoda. like, when he was like, “you can think all you want, but im not ashamed of myself” when it came to if he had sex with other. or when he was like “I don’t love you enough to tolerate you lying to me. I’m not that nice” that was AMAZING. I never seen a character actually put their foot down and but themself first. it was really refreshing, because a lot of characters in bls let their partner run over them, nearly in a toxic way. so, seeing deguchi basically say “i am not going to let you talk to me any type of way” REALLY secured his spot as favorite character for me. (▰˘◡˘▰)

as someone who’s plus size, it feels so good when i see a main character that also looks like me and treated the same. now, granted, i haven’t got bullied for my weight since fifth grade however it has always been an insecurity of mines, especially since i have yet to actually be in a relationship with someone. i think the author was smart to add depth into this character, by letting us know that his weight came from an eating disorder, there’s not many characters where the mc is plus size! but it does makes me sad to know that this manga is going to pull a “kiss him not me” and transform mc to be skinny again, so that he can be in love ):

ngl i can see why some might seem upset/frustrated. the royal twins have severe trust issues when it comes to royals and honestly, low common sense. as chapters go on, and we see the twins growing colder, it’s obvious as to why they’re becoming unlikeable characters, especially when we, the readers, knows who are the bad guys and who aren’t. it makes us just want to point them out, but we can’t. the story isnt terrible, the art style is beautiful. i just think that everything is just now starting to drag and the pace needs to be picked up a bit.

also... let’s not forget that the emperor was.... r-ped... and practically forced to give his kids away. like, i feel like nobody is noticing how purple hair was basically like “give me children or die, and btw, you can’t have the children when they’re born or THEY will die” like... how is this so easily glossed over...

hi guys! just letting y’all know- this bl updates in english every sunday on wecomics! it’s currently translated til chap 17. i don’t know if this project is taken over by a translator group or someone just automatically updates it, so i don’t know if i should send in the newest updates so it can be updated here or not. i also have the raws all the way up to chapter 55. i think the story is completed, judging by the authors note at the end. if anyone wants raw links, let me know!

i feel like i understand everything that happened but im still confused and don’t even know what questions i can ask atp LOL it’s like... plot is really good but this could’ve drifted on for 30 more chapters with more scenes between taylor and hawthorne because it feels like ammon(?) and Reece was a couple, taylor and Hawthorne are just close friends lol
