I love Talas more than words can do justice. Ali did say that desert women are tough as nails, but Talas is so much braver and self-assured than what people around her give credit for. She's a brilliant, intelligent, resourceful, adaptable and courageous woman! She gave up all the comfort and familiarity of Karakalpakstan , took the risk to move to a country miles across the sea, whose people are condescending and pretentious to say the least, just because she prioritized her happiness in the one life she has, and that takes guts. She has more guts than upper class Victorian women, like Henry and Edward’s mother. She may not be royalty, but she's a true Queen, an aristocrat by any other name.
Yo, I half expected her to turn down Henry until he got his mother's permission. Then again, she has her prior mother-in-law she was quite close to treating her like she's dead so hearing his own mother's wails of over her dead body was enough to know that wouldn't happen. Or if she didn't hear it, having Henry tell her gently was enough to know the truth.
We'll probably get a foal before a baby out of this situation but we've got other couples to check in on. We might not see them for a while.
The Yellow Dragon God fucked over Zeno so bad. I always wondered about the Crimson Dragon King’s reaction to learning of Zeno’s curse, and it’s so cruel, what the Yellow Dragon God cursed him with. Maybe Yona killing Zeno would have been the best option, but IDK, maybe Yona can succeed in dragging them off their pedestal and help put Zeno out of his misery, poor guy.... ┗( T﹏T )┛
I wish Lizzie were killed off instead of Snake... I liked him as a character so much.....
The unnamed Grim Reaper recorded his final moments at the end of the chapter. Whether or not that was just an illegal cliffhanger, we will have to wait and see, but still. Maybe I was too harsh in saying Lizzie should have died instead, but her behavior in her last appearance was too harsh and annoying. Our Ciel may have been harsh and distant towards her, but she just believed the lies that the Reanimated Ciel and the Undertaker told her, even though she knew him well enough, both as a cousin brother, and fiance. She should have known that Our Ciel endured a great deal of trauma for his age.
After all this time, I was so nervous about how Tokise High would perform, but I got chills from reading each page! It is difficult to explain how ecstatic it felt to read this chapter! I am overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions, foremost being an ecstatic joy and thrill that I can feel in my skin! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
