I'm sorry wtf????? You're acting as if they were writing about actual people. You are talking as if they are agreeing to what is being depicted in those fictional works and wouldn't mind it being done IRL. People in the lgbt community are not an entirely different species. You are acting as if it is only in yaoi that they depict; non-con, dub-con, ......
Most of us acknowledge the fact that there are some people that don't differentiate between reality and fiction. But what solution do you put forward for this to stop happening? Those people will continue living their lives as they see fit regardless of what you have to say for the matter. What would you do to stop these people from fetishizing lgb......
I'm just gonna assume you're a troll that shouldn't be taken seriously bc you keep spouting random shit and then refusing to clarify what you're talking about. You can't just make vague statements like "~Don't be part of the bad fujos~" or "~Watch out for the fujos who do -something-~" & expect people to just go along with whatever you were trying ......
?? Pardon me because i couldn't really get what your point was, but what are you talking about? Rape? And what are fujos saying "It's just fiction" to? Gay porn? Yaoi? Wdym? ?????????????? ?????????? Sincerely, A confused person. Edit: Ok, here is my take on this whole situation. 1. Your second paragraph: "Because apparently they're the auth......
Every piece of fiction could have the potential to affect people in real life, both positively and negatively. It can be problematic but even so, I still believe that truly negative and malicious effects caused by people taking fiction too seriously are by far, on the minority side. You say this is problematic. Yes, it can be and people should be......
I read this carefully and all of the replies that complain that people aren't listening to what you're saying but really, what ARE you saying? What is it you want? "By no means am I saying you shouldn't read yaoi." Well, that's good because you don't get to tell anyone what they can and can't read. "But what I am saying is that ya'll need to st......
It’s probably the people who constantly point out problematic themes in BL or who constantly comment how gross or disgusting they find the BL. All of the manga & BL on this site are tagged for a reason. If you don’t like those kinds of themes, that’s fine, you don’t have to read them, but you’re dragging the vibe down when you constantly ......
Its about a woman who wanted a lover, she rented a boyfriend online and became obsess with him and really thought they are lovers
The guy have a QR code on his neck
One day she saw the guy being rented by another girl, she lost it. She kidnap the guy and scarred his face
The end

it's nothing to get so upset about you go harass her on twitter of course, and it's also absolutely fine to vent your frustration in whatever spaces are welcome to it (and if you have constructive crit that's also good to let authors know). i know it can be disappointing when you build up this ideal in your head about what a story is and then that doesn't pan out, and it's fine to drop a series for that or lowering expectations for it.
my own perspective is that i came into this recognizing it would probably be a kind of trashy erotica with good art, and there are glimmers of potential for unique writing, but there are some pretty obvious mis-steps that reduce it back to, well, trashy erotica (and there's nothing wrong with that necessarily if that's what you want); this chapter's most obvious problem being the too conveniently thrown-in death threat to prevent clear communication when it would be much easier/more believable to just show NK experiencing PTSD/him having a panic attack after, y'know, almost being murdered (not that that would prevent the victim blaming going on in the comments....).
as it stands now, it's a pretty typical the Weepy MC Who Occasionally Shows Backbone with his Hot, Troubled, and Abusive (but it's okay bc he's Sad and Loves Him and Might Change One Day) Boyfriend kind of yaoi fare unfortunately, and no amount of hopeful meta writing can undo the fact that the only thing NK and SH have together rn is really good physical chemistry (as has been pointed out, the two don't really talk or do much together outside having sex lmao).

Omg I finally get what this comment section is like. It’s like pre-ending Killing Stalking, when everyone was ragging on about the readers and calling them supportive of rape, serial killers, and murder. Yet now it’s THE most popular yaoi manga on this site with an enviable rating. It’s the story I go back to and it’s the story that sticks with me long after I’ve finished it. If we agreed with everything we read, I think there would be a shit ton more serial killers with mother fetishes judging by the view count of Killing Stalking.
Or like first person shooter games. Sooo many people play it. Are they gonna suddenly pop outta their homes and start shooting people IRL? No. Otherwise we’d all be dead already.
Okay, ya’ll, repeat it with me: JUST BECAUSE YOU READ IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU SUPPORT IT. Reading is supposed to bring you to different worlds and different perspectives, and you might like something in fantasy but not in real life. (Aka yandere guys are everywhere in yaoi, and I love those stories to death, but do I want a yandere bf? NO.)
Rape is problematic. I as a fucking female under threat of it all the time when I go out know it all too fucking well. You don’t need to be telling me rape is goddamn problematic. Just let me enjoy this story without being a fucking snowflake about it.
