I can't believe I thought that I liked the seme better than the uke...
First, the seme KNEW that what he was doing was bad and warned the hell out of the uke.
The seme had a reason to change and a reason to fall in love.
And the uke? He thought the seme was handsome and gentle the first time he met him. That's it. That was all it took to fall so "deeply" in love. In TWO days! He fell so deeply enough to get abused multiple times by a dude he barely knew! Sorry not trying to victim shame, but they weren't even in a long serous relationship so saying that he had so kind of dependency or anything would be too forced, the uke kept asking to continue, even after seme's warnings.
I think the author concentrated too much in the seme's backstory and development and totally forgot about the uke. It was like "let's just create a character that is some kind of (stupid and masochistic) Sant out of nowhere" and make him "save" the seme.
The seme got on my nerves a couple of times ( ̄へ ̄)
If he was going to take care of Itonaga and make sure to make him happy... Why it looked like the one leading the relationship and making all the efforts was my poor baby Itonaga-Kun?!??
Geez I get that you feel guilty but what the hell are you dating him for if you don't tell him what you are thinking and feeling?!?!!
Overall I enjoyed this manga a lot... I can't condone bullying but I believe in redemption and if one really is feeling guilty and want to do anything to gain forgiveness, then it's ok to give them the chance... And I'm glad that those two became more... Sincere till the end.
The ex's "redemption" was unnecessary.
I was thinking that this is rereading material, but after the buddy-buddy scene, I don't think I'm coming back... That ruined everything for me...
My folks, if you are reading this for the first time, skip the red inked extra at all costs #-.-)
