It's just frustrating because... (And correct me if I'm wrong) what the hell are two people dating for if they don't share their feelings?!?? I mean that's the point of dating someone, right?!?? Or am I wrong? Have I been dating wrong my whole life?!???
If you don't trust your partner with your feelings (insecurity, fears, happiness, future plans, etc.) It's only a fling, a sex partner and NOT a serious commited relationship that is doomed to end sooner than later.
The point of dating someone is the (emotional) support, not just the physical presence. I think that's why so many people find annoying this uke/manga.
Keeping this couple together, as to how the characters are, feels forced, because we know that this kind of relationship is not going to last long... Unless there's some really important self growth and personal development, but that takes time, so it would be more realistic to show said growth with their next partners... But this is a manga so... They'll live happily ever after ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I think I'm gonna have to strongly disagree here lol.
Just because you don't share your feelings with someone doesn't mean it's a fling and you don't love them (That's what I got from what you said, correct me if I'm wrong)
You can be in a relationship and not share your feelings right away
It takes time
Like if you go on a blind date, you're meeting up with a stranger, why the hell would you want to tell this person about your life? So you continue to see them and just have conversations and meet ups until you feel comfortable enough to share your feelings
If you don't trust your partner it also isn't a fling, you could just be insecure, I've seen it before, but as time passes by eventually you'll learn to rely and trust your partner, but just because you don't trust them and you're dating them does not mean it's a fling.
I'd say people found the manga annoying because of the way the seme treated sexual harassment and how the uke was basically so quiet at points
I also don't believe that the point of dating isn't only for emotional and physical support because I can get both those things for friends, when you date someone I believe you do it because you're interested in them romantically and would love to know more about them, you enjoy spending time with them romantically
Uhmm...I get your point and I agree, I mean, I can't disagree, more accurately... I guess it's just my way of dating then... I'm the type of person that first gets to know very well the person, then opens up and THEN start dating. I can't date if I don't make sure the other person is aware of my feelings and I'm sure of theirs.
I don't believe in the "let's start dating and then we'll see what comes out then" to me that's playing around, more like a gamble.
Thank you for your pov, just reminded me that there's a lot of ways to date. Still... My first comment is what bothered me about this manga -o-
What’s more frustrating here is the Uke’s half-baked decisions. First of all, who the hell misses the birthday of their LOVER just to accompany someone who ISN’T EVEN THEIR FRIEND and has continuously HARASSED them at work?
Communication doesn’t just develop in a day, that’s true, but if you only date someone because you are attracted to them romantically and have no future plans whatsoever, then I’d say that’s just a fling, or rather unstable, or even close to being toxic.
Also, if this is the definition of REALISTIC RELATIONSHIPS then count me out.
I’ve had gay friends who are very open to their partners.
Love is NOT COMPLICATED, what’s complicated are RELATIONSHIPS, relationships that has no proper communication.
My explanation wasn't referring to the story at all
The person had talked about relationships so that's where my explanation came in
Since the manga is fiction idk how to explain their relationship and idk what the author was doing or what they were going for
But I explained relationship from experience
I honestly don't even remember what this manga is about
Another one of the troupe "the seme can have sex with other people while the uke leaves before getting started because he can't get the seme out of his mind"
Just WHY? Want to make the uke seem pure and the seme badass? What year is it? It's fucking 2020 not 1990 for fuck's sake...
I wasn't questioning the character's I was questioning the intention of the author by creating that situation... This is just my personal taste and opinion though... I don't like that the seme is portrayed as a sex symbol, omnipotent and omniscient and the uke is treated as a pure and innocent damcel in distress... ( ̄へ ̄)
I feel so out of place wanting to comment the manga I've just read... But here I go... (●'◡'●)ノ
The relationship development was just TOO rushed! One panel the seme is flirting with girls and the next he's chasing after the uke and dragging him to a karaoke and then bum, playing with his nipples and the straight-but-not-so-straight uke just lets it happen and starts moaning? The pace was so strange and rushed that I couldn't feel and follow anything that was happening. And then the seme is already in love? Since when? Who saw it coming? And then, and then the uke is also in love...? Where are the feelings development? Like the drawing is great, the Smut is great but the storytelling is not so great.
And if you, random reader, still have doubts about the MC's feelings, lets put a cool handsome gay character out of nowhere and stir things up... At this point I stopped caring about the plot and just enjoyed the smut... Thats what I should have done from the begging... Just see this as a classic yaoi, a good old PWP ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't understand... Is that a fanfic? Is that cannon? The grammar is awful
its canon though
you can find it on wattpad (novel version)
Oh, I see
Thank you! <3
