Spoiler Alert: This is a question about series endings, so please keep that in mind before answering them yourself/reading other responses. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
For me, I'm actually a pretty huge fan of series with happy endings, but a series with a sad/tragic/bad ending written well is still pretty good to me. I'm curious though about the times where a series is written off with a "happy ending" but it really didn't work and in fact just takes away from the story.
Across all genres, name a manga series and tell me why you weren't happy with the "happy ending". What would you change about it and why?
Anything that doesn't show a mortal lesson of leave a bad after taste without any feet her explanation is a BAD ending. ENDINGS without letting readers have a solide conclusion is in my book, A BAD ENDING.
